Episode 11.1: Karazhan

Project Lore and pals travel deeper into Karazhan and discover Medivh's ghostly father, Shade of Aran. Will Project Lore finish this specter once and for all or will the guys and gals get burned? Find out in this episode of Project Lore.

As Karazhan is a 10-man raid, the guys wrangled in five members of the Totally Rad Guild to help them out. Here are the armories for everyone involved: DrDark, Lylelovett, Goggins, Dorkins, Xenophontos, Manifesto, Talonni, Bastosa, Wyche, and Wilx. They're almost to the end of this long instance, so watch how things turn out!

love the work guys! a note for the 'shade of aran' fight, i played it as tank, heals and dps. My healer is a priest, when aran casts mass slow, i have the time to cast mass dispel. when pug'n with noobs, or drunken guildees, this trick saves wipes!!

Haha good try guys. That 1st was hella sloppy though.

Couple Tips on Shade.
You should have any rogues, wars, dps shammys asigned to a specific cast interupt. EX. 1 rogue and enhance sham kick/earthshock his fireballs and 1 elemental sham and war eartshock/pummel his frostbolts. Even if you dont get them all, it just helps your healers a bit. Also NEVER interup Arcane missle, just see whos getting hit by them and have a healer keep them up. I also have a 1 mage who job is to CounterSpell his cast that directly follows the Arcane Explosion.

Also for phase 2, When water elemental comes out.
Its a really good idea to have your shammys drop Fire/Earth elemental totems to help take out the ones that aren't banished. Again just helps healers out. And thats the best time to bloodlust/heroism. Also If slow/arcane explosion thing happens and you run to a wall. DPS might as well focus a Water elemental till you can start back on Shade.

p.s. Casters STAY OUT OF HIS MELEE RANGE. I saw a number of healer/casters get silenced by him. Thats just fail. Love your videos. Good luck in SSC/TK and WoTlk.

You can move inside the flamewreath without getting hurt. Moving outside the flamewreath ring would.
