Episode 1.1: Hellfire Ramparts

In this first episode, Project Lore tackles Hellfire Ramparts... on normal. What? Yeah... five level 70's take on a bunch of level 61 elites for your fun and enjoyment... with a few tactical suggestions along the way to help you when you run it yourself. Don't worry. They know. So overpowered it's comical. Rest assured future episodes will be run on Heroic. Let's see how the guys destroy Watchkeeper Gargolmar.

Hey guys, just watched the first couple of shows and I'm very impressed. Great job in putting together a really nice looking site. Great job with the concept as well (which is of course the most important thing). Glad to see someone taking the stale walkthrough and making it a watchable experience.

Looking forward to seeing you move onwards and upwards.

This is perfect for me, my warrior just steped into outland and it looks like ill be running the instances as you guys take them on and ill know the strats so im not a total noob going into them. Just ran ramps for te 2nd time today and got the hellreaver which is amazing!

keep up the good work guys, this is very helpful

Wow, it dosnt take much to get sponsors and free computers anymore does it?

Good effort, but any group of friends with a camcorder and free computers and money from sponsors could pull this off.

Been watching Diggnation and The Totally Rad Show, and playing WoW since release. I saw your t-shirt on the 7/19/2008 episode of Diggnation, where you (Alex) gave this a short plug. Anyway, I'm definitely looking forward to this... Open up a forum! :)

hey Alex, really like the concept. Ramps on normal was a good start to get the show into a groove and see if it worked. Next time, though, let's see a little more of a challenge for your 5 man such as a heroic, or trying to do higher instances 3-4 man like my guild

ROFL, "Mr. Purple Bow Bullshit" its gonna be a while before I stop laughing at that.

I kinda enjoyed the videos but I couldn't get pass how "noob" you guys were... gear wise and experience. I mean i guess it's ok for casuals but any semi-seasoned player can't take your advice seriously.

Like the show. Running low lvl instances when you're a decked out 70 can be fun :D
I ran Mech last night with some friends on my Arcane/Frost Mage, and we're all in T5 gear. The tank was a holly pally, but I kept pulling aggro and tanking/kiting them. It was hilariously fun :)

Nice job Alex. You should put this website as part of Rev3.

August 3, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterAbe

Hey,
I have just started playing World of Warcraft and was wondering as to what addons you are using? Thanks very much for helping out. Also great show and I will use this information in the end when I get to these instances.

This is just TOO funny.

I have watched the later episodes before coming back here and I have to say that the BEST part of these shows is the impromtu and hilarious dialogues that arise. The interaction between the characters feels like a comedy show.

So I learn something AND i get entertained.

I play on a European Server as well as a Server in Taiwan, in Chinese, i would so love to do a Chinese version of this, or have someone put up Dialogue translations for these in Chinese!

It would be the Chinese Franchise, World exposure!
Gold Farmers not wanted. :)

Keep up the shows, these just keep getting better!

can anyone mail me the name of the music played in the intro and trash-runout? Respect for the idea and the efforts of the guys!

so overpowered it's comical? you guys SUCK. i've seen and done norm ramparts solo, chain pulling multiple groups, with no crowd control. and ive seen level 58 groups take them down faster than that, wow you guys sure nubbed up ramparts on norm. no wonder you haven't done more than gruuls....

also you guys really failed at heroic mech. the mobs aren't 'invisible' they port in once you kill the previous group. and the mobs don't pull the boss, god.

how retarded can you be?

what interface are you running and how do i get it.
