Firstly, what we are seeing is old recordings probably from just after wrath was released, so keep that in mind when your watching.

They did say it was the first time seeing the nexus, so you can understand how they could have gotten lost. I am sure quite a number of groups did the same thing. Going the way they did is probably the worst due to the respawns.

Ret pally's dps is through seal of the matyr now, not command or vengence. They are more situational and most ret pally's won't even spec into command for pve dps.

Improper dps rotation, not standing behind things so they don't parry you and not combining cooldowns correctly can seriously lower your dps. Something Jeff has probably got hang of by now.

I would say though, these episodes look like 1 broken down into maybe 3 due to the break required over xmas/new years etc. So its kind of disappointing in regards to the content but not when it comes to the entertainment.

We voted for the episodes to be this way guys, stop complaining.

Also, for those of you who say that these guys aren't pro enough for you, go watch some SK gaming videos or something, this place clearly isn't for you.

I'm really getting tired of hearing about the episodes being too short.

PLEASE READ THIS NEWBS:

Nexus takes 30-45 minutes to run without wiping. If we had 20 minute segments (like Kara,) they'd only have 2 segments this week with 2 boss fights per segment and then they'd be done with Nexus.

There's only 1 (maybe 2) instance(s) in all of Wrath that could support multiple 20 minute segments and this isn't one of them.

hey what addons do the guys use like for steve or lyle?
training a tank pally and have a tank warrior and im not sure what addons i need to tank for vault or naxx?!?

Not sure why Jeff is struggling with the dps.
I'll just reiterate some things in hopes it may help:
1. Attack from behind
2. Use seal of blood/martyr unless kickback damage is causing problems for healer. Even so with art of war and sheath of light you should be able to heal yourself through this damage.
3. Spec into improved blessing of might. Only 80 ret pally's take kings.
4. Judge and divine storm whenever they're up.
5. At 71 you get divine plea, use it whenever it's up. It will allow you to throw in consecration more liberally.
6. Loot, profit.

I gots an idea for you guys. How about you guys all get each others phone numbers and discuss it privately. Or maybe get together and make your own website called "How to Play a Ret Pally". Either way is fine with me, but we don't care how Jeff "should" play the game or what you think about how he is doing it.

You are not forced to watch it. If you don't like it then don't watch it. It is as simple as that.

As for the PL team, Jeff you are doing a good job (don't listen to them. They tend to think they know everything) and to the rest, awesome job on your videos. I think this one has moved up to one of my top favorite. If only goggins would have been there. He would have made us a song!!! =D

Not sure how you could possibly misconstrue my post as anything other than helpful advice. Did I mention anywhere that I'm not enjoying the show? How were a few tips, politely prefaced, turned into me attacking Jeff?

From what I see Jeff does care about his dps so I offered up some advice in hopes that it might help him (if he even reads these posts) or anyone else who may read it.

I love the episodes guys. Truly I do. Juggs I know you are doing your best to heal "in combat", but seriously you guys need Goggins to come back ASAP!

Jeff, you are doing fine. Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise. I know you are used to the Prot spec. Ret will just take a little getting used to. Just keep having fun and making the wise a$$ remarks and its all good as far as I'm concerned.

Dorkins.....I don't know where to begin with you. Running out of ammo in Kara. Attacking Skarvald in UK. And now asking about Healing IN COMBAT!!!??!? Wow, man! Just wow. It's LOL a minute. But at least you realize it.

Everyone needs to take it easy. PL has two guys who are not in their normal roles for the show. And one of those guys - I'm assuming - does not normally run with them. And lets not forget Dorkins. He's normall good for a screw up too.

It's almost like a PUG right now. No one is quite sure of the abilities of the others. If Goggins was there and everyone was in their proper roles they would - probably - be flying through this.

And I notice that Hippocket is use seal of corruption. Usually I use a combo of Martyr and Command for my seal. Use Martyr until it stacks to 5 then use and stay on Command. And that was good to see that you use JoW to keep your mana up. And also have Seal of Wisdom ready just in case you're low on mana form concencrate and other holy spells from those pesky undead and demons.

Other than that keep it up PL!

What I find funny is how I done Nexus a few times in pugs already and none of them seem to have as many issues as the guys in this place.

Oh I can't wait to see them on the rift base boss and the last one.

I agree with the 2nd post. The thrash is boring. Once you've seen 1 you've seen the rest of that kind. I'd like to see those shorter episodes or a singing episode.

The info you're talking about can be set from WoW itself, it's not an addon...

Go to Interface -> Combat Text and select "Enable Floating Combat Text"
And finaly select what you wish to see and how you want it to appear on your screen...

There was a comment about getting mana back. Yes, the Ret pally is giving you mana but you also get a buff in the frozen section you are in that give you a ton of mana recovery.

You guys need to group up on Jeff in this area and let him concecrate, it will pick up the little flowers while Lyle is tanking somethnig else.

those little flower things in that part of the ini, once killed, make pods that have a restorative aura, granting increased healing and mana regen if you stand in that blue stuff. after a while they'll spawn mobs again, but it can be quite useful...

i dont mind seeing all the pulls... but i wish the videos would be longer

Whats the addon called in 1min, 6 seconds?? The circular skill bar?? i have been looking for it everywhere...

I love these episodes but they are too SHORT! 8-10 mins footage of a 5-man every couple days isn't enough...I enjoy watching the guys clear the trash all I ask is the videos are longer...please?
