Good vid, love PL. I know you hear it alot but wish you guys could speed up the progress in each episode :)
Nice job guys. That fight is hard if no one is getting rid of the chains, eh? Hehe. Fortunately, playing a priest ensures that I'll always be in the instance with someone who can dispel.
I'm sure you'll get this boss done by the next episode easily.
I never thought this boss was hard. Didn't do it on heroic yet but that's another story of course. First time was with a Druid meaning HoTs which made it more easily to heal while moving. Second time was with the same group as Project Lore. We nuked this boss really fast. Don't know why but it worked out.
Holy crap I hated this fight!!! First time I did it the tank kept yelling at me... JUMP JUMP!!! .... not informing me why I'm supposed to jump ... priests arent supposed to be jumping!!!... Lots of yelling on vent... "HEAL ME!!!" .. "BUT IM JUMPING!!!".. "JUMP!!!" "BUT IM HEALING!!" ...
I really am looking forward to them doing HoS ... the computer room chaos should be fun to watch.
I know it's their first try and stuff. But on my first try I tried to blink out of the chains immediately and it worked. Dont know why alex didnt try that. But anyway, awesome episode. Keep it up guys :P
I'm getting really sick of these episodes where nothing happens. What ever happened to the formula of "Trash" - "Boss Strat" - "Boss Fight".
This dungeon has been dragging ass for almost 2 whole weeks now, its not any different than any other 5 man. There is no excuse for this to be a 2 week run.
If you aren't going to accomplish anything in an episode at least have the decency to say so at the beginning so I don't waste 10 minutes watching you kill trash.
I disagree, I like how they're taking their time now. I hated it when they sped through trash, it was annoying. If you really don't want to watch the trash, just skip through it. Not that big a deal.
The boss fights are definitely interesting, but I really like the episodes where they go trough the trash as well. I don't play WoW (just haven't got time for this) and once in a while it is good to see what is going on in the world of warcraft. Project Lore does a fine job showing us some new content through their perspective. Keep up the good work :)
HoTs were my best friends in there. And instant heals. XD I'd randomly throw out Prayer of Mending on the tank, Binding heal if I was getting low. Circle of Healing if we're near each other while running around, and then just cycled through with renews. Some how we survived to get the dragon to 5%... then we just couldn't make it past that.
Another thing we were playing around on one of them, cuz we were sick of dying so much and decided to have fun. The graveyard is right next to the entrance almost. One person dies, they run right back in, next person dies, they run right back in. so on and so forth. That dragon had to have walked 15 miles that night on my group alone, it was a hoot.
This is so easy.... i played it as a healer and just walk around and heal with renew, pom, and flash heals... and the others jump... like melee dps no problem , the casters can have some problems with long casting time spells but in the end if the healer is good it's ok
Jeff use judgement of command ffs , its not your fucking job to stun the mob its to kill it,
personaly i think project lore kinda sucks now, its to slow , retardely wiping on almost every boss and shows some crap instance that we all did like 2 months ago without wiping.
If they would be dead serious like you and playing this game like it's their main job, it wouldn't be half as entertaining as it is right now. Making little mistakes, joking and having good time is what makes it worth to watch.
Some more helpful hints. Others have mentioned some and others haven't but I'll just compile them all in a handy-dandy comment.
#1 - Intense cold can be broken by MOVING or JUMPING, jumping is the preferred method for whoever is tanking because you don't have to worry about accidentally moving her and tail-swiping your party.
#2 - Roll out with a dispeller. Juggy may not be able to dispel magic effects but Hip certainly can. The chains can be dispelled but any class that can dispel magic.
#3 - Along with dispelling the chains, her Frost DoT that she randomly lays on party members she can also dispel.
#4 - She does enrage at around 20% I believe so be ready for harder heals and pop all your cooldowns to nuke her down.

lol, that dude was a total vagina?.....
Jumping in place removes the debuff.

I very happy that you guys put all of these attempts in one episode instead of trying to drag it out another week or something.
Alotta Fagina?
Love This Video And Yes Jumping In Place Works The Best For This Fight!

This is one of the fights why I like being a resto druid. Jump-cast-jump-cast really well too for the casters.

Why isn't Jeff using Hand of Freedom to get Juggy out of the chains? Or does it not work on it?
Nvm, I just watched the rest of the video.. Lol.

Judgement of command doesn't stun mobs, it does more damage when stunned. L2play.

have you guys been watching the show since the beginning with its first episodes?
their point is to go through EVERY instance
not everyone has cleared everything
think about other people instead of just yourselves
