Mount Run: Reigns of the Raven Lord

Alex, Jeff and Juggy are back with their toons Bowbins, Winterstrike and Steev to go on a mount run in Sethekk Halls. Maybe this time the three of them can coax a mount from the summond Anzu. Or maybe they'll wipe... Who knows? Find out in this episode of Project Lore.

@Motman: "Does anyone know what the addon juggy uses that shows the health bar above the mobs?"

It's standard in Blizzard, press (shift, alt, ctrl, play with those keys)+'V' to make nameplates show. He modified them with Aloft, which is a very nice addon but will take a while to configure.

Also Juggy, can't you like change the background color of Omen? You've got a quite nice UI but Omen is sortof ruining the nice and shiny dark part at the bottom.

Nice to see some familiar faces again after so long. I have yet to do a dungeon run with team mates as happy and laid back as you guys. Wish there were more like you.

Seal of Blood, really?

If you're on a run where there is no full time healer then seal of blood is quite possibly the worst seal you could theoretically use. Command, Corruption, or Righteousness would all have been better choices.

@ Walls

Not heard of the talent art of war? The instant flash's of light eaisly cover the damage down to you by seal of blood.

Irregardless, if you're not watching carefully for it to proc then the damage can quickly pile up into an overwhelming situation. Rewatch the video, he was fairly consistently below 50% health, which meant that he had to step back and heal himself.

It would have been a lot more practical and SAFE to use one of the seals I previously mentioned.

Not that any of this will matter much longer, with Blood being removed in the next patch.

Anyone know of a good addon to keep track of the debuffs I place on my target? Something to see how much time is left until my larcerate, larcerate, demoralizing roar, etc. I'm very bad add having to look at the enemies avatar to see it and tank at the same time. Id love the one Dorkins has where it's a big icon of the his serpent sting and black arrow. Thanks guys.

Sorry for all the errors in my last post ><

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterAdam

WOW finally some of the rest of the team, you guys should keep this up. I will continue to watch the mount runs.

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterBranderen

The addon I use for the health bars is called Aloft - it changes the way bars look above people's heads :)

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJuggynaut

Oh, and Steev is my druid, no relation to Steve, former cameraman of TRS.

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJuggynaut

Juggy what mod do you use for you're action bars?

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterShnoo

Great video!
Finally great to see Juggy's point of view... also like the new character icons on the bottom-left. Can't wait to see more.

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterSkrabblez

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered Commentergabereal1

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterjhez

btw LOW drop rates on the mounts like .5%-1% on all

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterjhez

@gabereal1

too bad when u posted that. it was 10 oclock on a tuesday night....i think u may need a new clock

@walls

its a lvl 70 heroic mount run with 3 lvl 80 people in group...there is no need to be all uptight about what seal someone is using

as far as comments on the episode itself goes, i LOVED this episode

its good to see jeff and alex again (even though im still making the journey through all the old TRS's for the first time anyway :D )

the silly, relaxed, comical attitude that comes out during this episode is what made me fall in love with project lore in the first place, and i cant wait to get back into the eps featuring the whole group doing something that theyre not totally overpowered for

Ulduar will be fun, i can already hear the comments to xt-002's voice in my head :P

I can see it already, first word coming out of XT-002's umm... mouth and the whole PL team ROFLs like never before, my guild wiped the first time just because of that :D

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterStanleyovicz

@viggo Couse none of the others are l33t enough ;)

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterBianca

It will be nice to see the PL team STRUGGLE through something for the first time, like the polar opposite when they ran Ramparts non-heroic :P.

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterShnoo

Hey, What addon do Juggy use for the loot/roll frames?

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterDreamstate

winterstrikeeeee, whaaaaa i lol'd at that all day xD, alex you made me laugh all the way to the end of the episode.

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterDramatic Chipmunk

Nice episode i like it mostly because you are showing complete UI ..... and cant remember that i have seen any on Winter and bowbins, but Steev's UI is great, I WOULD RLY LIKE TO SEE Juggy's UI when they run 5 man, 10man, and hes resto spec...i think that we resto shamans need to see that...

June 25, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterIwchas`
