from Programmed Random Occurrence. Refers to any ability that has a chance of activating on some event such as a weapon swing or spell cast, or when that ability activates.
Prot
Short for Protection. Refers to a Warrior or Paladin who has allocated their talents to be a tank.
PST
Please Send Tell. Used in public channels when someone wants responses sent as a /tell or /whisper
PuG
Pick up group, a group of people who have previously had no interactions who have come together to defeat an encounter. Also, a type of dog.
Pull
Attack monsters and bring them towards the party
Purple
Epic level item. Next to Legendary, the rarest and highest quality equipment available.
PvE
Player vs. Environment. Combat between players and computer controlled opponents
PvP
Player vs. Player. This refers to any content where players are faced against other players.
Pwn
To own, as in, completely destroy, dominate, or claim victory over.

Raid
A large–scale attack on an area or instance by a group of players. Generally includes anywhere from 10 to 40 players.
Ramps
Hellfire Ramparts, a Hellfire Citadel instance in Hellfire Peninsula.
Random
Generate a random number using the /random or /roll command.
Repair
Pay an NPC to restore all durability to equipment. Higher quality equipment costs more money to repair
