Gosh such a disappointment. They do utgarde keep. I know they are low level, but they ALREADY did this instance on their show. Doing the same instance twice, did they just forget that they already did this...? Ah well, Honestly should have just done the nexus instead if they can't level fast enough.

what is the addon that alex uses on his mage?

December 22, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterEggsNbacon

im sorry, that was stupid to not specify, i was asking about the one that has two bars on either side of him, measuring his health, mana, and the opponents

People, they did UK on BETA! Content has changed since then. I know this because I've already ran this instance with my guild. So don't patronize them on doing this again.

And yes, it has a great view. I'd keep the drakes, but the riders need to go.

@Aberu: You do realize that these guys have lives outside this show, right? Alex alone has two other shows that he hosts. They cannot dedicate their waking hours to making the 'perfect' PL episode for people who are not content with what they are given.

Now I am not saying I'm not a little miffed myself about seeing UK again, but I know that this was most likely filmed with the knowledge that the holiday season was coming on (they need filler while they live their lives and spend time with their families)- plus, as Hatell said, the first UK episode was filmed during the beta. Meaning things might have changed between then and now.

To EggsNbacon,

The addon that Alex is using has two different names depending where you get is from. If you use Curse.com then it is named DHUD2, but if you use WowMatrix then it is listed as MetaHud.

As far as I know they are the same addon just kept current by two different people.

How can you Drathal's hud work, it han't been update for 2 years. If i install and other with me (if i see the remarks on cruse)

Did you do some mods on it?

First and foremost a great show, big thanks to all at project lore.

Second to all that is asking about the addon that Alex is using. It is called a Heads Up Display or HUD, there are many different HUDs but the one Alex is using is called DHUD or Drathal's HUD. The original version is now a dead projet but a few people have made their one versions.
If you want to try one of the new versions try searching for:
DHUD2 by author Arcanefoam
DHUD for 3.0 by author MAD111CAT
MetaHUD by author Nuckin
I think they may be found at curse and/or wowinterface

Hey PL ! I gotta say this show is great and the job you all are doing in this instance , in the actual WOTLK with your actual chars is great ! Keep it up !
But i miss one thing from the 1st run you all did in the Beta... Lyle`s Bush LOL ^ ^

Ooh I forgot : Happy Holidays to everyone at Project Lore ! And let`s hope 2009 together with all of you and WOTLK will bring more cool stuff for us to enjoy [in-game and Real Life as well] !

While we're on the subject of add-ons, anyone know what Josh and Zand are using?

I love DHUD2 because unlike many other HUDs, it shows your buffs right there too, so you don't have to check the corner of your screen and can easily tell when something with a short duration falls off.

300dps on a paladin? Just give up and play solitaire.

December 23, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterCrucifier

What is wrong with you people? Who is still trying to beat the terrifying Utgarde Keep?

December 23, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterUniform

Too short an episode... good length is 10-15 mins, IMHO...

i have been running a hunter since launch of the original game it has to be my favorite class to play ..
in the last two episodes for this run there were some honest mistakes with the hunter and i understand it completely but i also noticed there is one thing he should do when running any instance .. the areas for fights are small enough that i always turn my pets sprint off as well as always being on passive because of the simple fact a miss click will happen from time to time and if it does happen not having sprint on gives you plenty of time to recall your pet before he gains any aggro at all .. i think you all do a great job and play your classes well .. i am also a huge dps class player .. and to all players out there .. with a good healer in group the pally shouldnt be putting up too much aggro on purpose incase he has to switch to secondary heals from off tank ..so trust me when i say "and i dont care what pally players i piss off ." every group i have ever played with and guild i have been in would rather have a low dps pally for the specific reason of not gaining random aggro and holding it in certain fights for the purpose of off healing if needed ...
you all do a great job ..
