The final part of episode 2 is now available! Project Lore gets its boon on and takes on Quagmirran, a disgusting fungal lord. For more help on this guy, go to the Slave Pens Guide. If you've got other tactics they didn't use, let me know.
The conclusion of Project Lore's first foray into heroic dungeons awaits!

Nice own. Can't wait to see what you guys do next. I'm greatly looking forward to it.
Been watching all your episodes, love everyone of them, although I have noticed I have a different strategy for some of these trash pulls and bosses.
Love your videos.
XD Give US realms XD EU sux :(
keep up the good work guys :P
Great show guys!
Just a tip on the boss. He will turn to the rest of the group and does a spit. However, after this spit he drops all his threat so basically goes for the one who annoys him the most then (if DPS doesn't stop, the top DPSer, otherwise the healer).
So after the spit, he should be taunted back to the tank. The group will have to take the spit on them and the healer should heal through it. Two points to take notice here:
- DPS should NOT over aggro during the fight. If they do and grab aggro right before the spit, taunt will be on cooldown after the spit and well, that's not pretty (though they could still use challenging shout which works too).
- The spit has a certain duration, and so does taunt. You can actually taunt him a few seconds _before_ the spit ends, and the taunt effect will still be on _after_ the spit. Time this well and about half of the spit will not go over the group (easier healing) and he will be on you (the tank) again after the spit.
For the rest great video!
What is the hunter macro he is talking about? A guildie says he has one, but he wants to compare to see if it's the same or not.
This is a macro if you're using a Wind Serpent (which you should only get if you're >30% crit). If not using a serpent, remove Lightning Breath from the macro.
Macro #1 (the one you actually spam)
#showtooltip Steady Shot
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/cast !Auto Shot
/click [target=pettarget,exists] TrinityActionButton28
/cast Lightning Breath(Rank 6)
/cast Steady Shot
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
Macro #2 (place it somewhere on your bars)
#showtooltip Kill Command
/castsequence reset=4 Kill Command, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot
Change the "/click " line in the first macro and replace TrinityActionButton28 with whatever the name of the button is that macro#2 is sitting on, most bar mods will just tell you when you are in editing mode what the name of the button is.
Spamming that will do standard 2:1/3:2/1:1 depending upon shot speed, use Lightning Breath right, use KC (without locking), and does a near perfect job of not spamming steady and clipping autos. Also gets rid of error messages and sound effects from button mashing.
Enjoy
oh and if you're having trouble finding the name of the button in your UI use this macro:
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("You are hovering over frame: " .. GetMouseFocus():GetName())
Bind that to a key and while pressing the key, mouseover the button you were wondering the name of. Mine was TrinityActionButton28. Yours might by BTButton78 (bartender). It all depends on the bar mod u use.
btw the Acid Geyser that he casts is a conal ability (roughly 90 degrees) and will go after targets within that cone. It is focused on 1 party member, so if that party member moves to one side while the rest of the party moves to the other, the damage done from the Geyser is minimal. The tank can also taunt quag and focus the cone on him for the duration of taunt, but once taunt is up he'll go bak to Geyser on whichever target he was originally on. If the tank is a warrior, Spell Reflect will do some good DPS & TPS since it'll reflect nearly all the bolts back.
It does not drop aggro as someone said in a previous comment. At no point during the fight does he have any aggro dropping abilities, so DPS to your hearts content.
Could you create a tab that lists the names of the mods that you use in the videos for each character class?
I have a Rogue with MetaHud, but I've never seen the round icons to the left of the MetaHud.
