Project Lore WotLK Beta 1.16

Project Lore regroups, buffs up and charges in to take on Ingvar the Plunderer in WotLK beta Utgarde Keep for a second time. They've seen the fight before. They've died trying. Will they defeat Ingvar? Watch and see in this episode of Project Lore.

There's no armory for the beta servers, so here are links for the live characters: Dorkins, Goggins, Lylelovett, Shnoobins, and Juggynaut. In the Wrath of the Lich King beta, Shnoobins went arcane and Juggynaut specced elemental.

Another episode tomorrow at noon Pacific, and the wrap up will be at 3pm Pacific!

Nice vids guys, really cool to see the new wrath instances and have an idea of whats to come. Is it just me, or is Juggy really quiet in this episode?

September 25, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterGrant

That was the end of that instance.... Or did blizzard purposely make that glitch so you couldn't go farther...

September 25, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterGaMa

September 25, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterMalthe

It wasn't a glitch that they could't go further. The glitch was that some of them fell before they got to the hole. That was all there is to the run.

OK so this don't become a spam post but that axe is atculy a sword In BT and various other mobs effectivly it means:

for as long as its hitting people its there.

whilst the axe is away the mob is NOT doing less damage.

gnomes dont fit under the blade....

still its a great episode nice to see stuff aint too easy going into wrath! and blues are finding a happy home XD

September 25, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterDprower

It would be great if you showed the group's and enemy's health bars instead of the cameras when showing ingame footage.

September 25, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterMaul

oh....ooops I also meant to say that blizz aint beeing THAT orgininal with the exit (cough WC).

wayyyyy cooler would be some kind of extraction from your airbourn allies...

or.. running down to the 'main gate' with the mobs cowering in fear of you having sleiged there boss with such ease...

and.... my presonal fave, grapaling hooks off the palicade [rejoin live relm] mountin path at the bace of the castle wall!

jump and puddle aint rili 'all that' shame tbh i'd love to see blizz push the boat out for once...

For that debuff that was hurting the healer, check eagle phase of the Zul'jin fight (ZA). i imagine its a similar mechanic.

You have to switch to big heals, so that you do more healing for less casts.

as a paladin, FoL does 1500 or so but i could get hit for 1500 by the debuff, so i use HL which will hit for like 8000, while i still get hit for 1500 by the debuff.

Great work all around Guys!

The healing debuff says the caster of "direct" healing will take damage. Does that include 2nd and 3rd toons recieving a chain heal, or only the targetted toon? If only the targetted toon is considered "direct", then when tank has the debuff, have another toon in the party move by the tank, then cast chain heals on that toon so the tank catches 2nd or 3rd heal. If 2nd and 3rd heals are condsidered "direct" then have the shammy move to the tank to catch his own chain heal.

Chain Heal FTW!!
