Project Lore WotLK Beta Week 3 Wrap Up

Project Lore finished the rest of Utgarde Keep in the Wrath of the Lich King beta this week. They headed out to the terrace where they finished off Ingvar the Plunderer. After that they took a break and got their hair cut in Ironforge. Remember that stuff in the beta is constantly changing! Here's each episode's link in case you missed something:

Project Lore WotLK Beta 1.16

Project Lore WotLK Beta 1.17

Project Lore WotLK Beta 1.18 (Wrap-Up)

Between Pirate Day and Brewfest, there's been a  fair amount of seasonal holidays to distract from the lull that has come before WotLK. Speaking of Wrath of the Lich King, we heard a couple of interesting tidbits about mounts in the expansion this week as well.

Random Heroes can't seem to wait for exotic pets, or giraffes at the very least. SaintGermain keeps the Life Lessons coming, and we got some good tips for playing WoW at work.

Next week will mark another huge milestone for Project Lore - we are starting our first raid on the show. Karazhan will be running for the next three weeks. With tons of bosses and a lot of great lore behind them, you guys are in for a huge treat. Stay tuned because we'll have the schedule for you on Sunday!

Remember that you can find out all of the happenings here with the Episodes RSS feed, the Blog RSS feed, or Twitter, and join our Facebook Group, Facebook Page, and MySpace! You can head to our subscribe page to find us on some of your other favorite sites, too. Also, remember to get over to the Lore Store to grab yourself a Project Lore T-Shirt!

I can't wait to see you guys take on Kara. I personally enjoyed doing it as a rogue. What would really interest me is to hear what you guys feel is to be the best raid group makeup for the overall instance. From what I have seen it was MT, OT, 2 melee dps, 2-3 healers, then the rest is ranged dps. But ya, what is your group's opinion?

k, zand, agility, attack power and crit are very important, but unless ur hit capped, it dont matter, every class has that 1 attribute they have to get to a magic number, for hunters its the 147hit rating or 128 if ur drenai (like my self), and u also forgot a hunters best friend... haste, and in lich haste is gonna be handed out like candy so it ownt be hard to find, but its still an important attribute to get.

Hi guys :)

Awesome episodes, but why oh why so short?

I would love if you make the episodes 10 minutes atleast, cause 5 min is way too short for a good show like this.

Just my opinion :)

whoohoo, karazhan, I really loved it there, stended alot of time there with raids/farms, 2 bad I almost never get there anymore... zI'm really excited what you guys think is a good raid setup for there, me I've almost been there with each possible combo,
but I like 1x warr MT, 1x DR OT, 1x Pala heal, 1x resto druid, 2x hunter, 1x SP, 2x Lock (1 afli and 1 destr.) and a mage the most (soz melee dpz). Doing ZA/SSC/TK/MH now... so almost no time left to do KZ, stil I think it's one of the best instances in the game (I like MH more personally).

can't wait to see you do karazhan

September 28, 2008 | Unregistered Commentergimith

Can't wait to finally see Kara. (My FORMER guild wouldn't let me raid because my gear is not yet good enough. I told them it's kind of hard to be ridin purples if you're not allowed to raid.....but back to what I wanted to ask)
Will we be seeing Alexis join you guys for this raid?

It will definitely be useful to have Karazhan done. I've only done it twice so far (1st was pug, 2nd w/ guild), so I don't have the entire instance memorized. Being able to have something to refer to would be nice.

I'd also love to see some longer episodes, its way too short atm.

Very entertaining nonetheless,, keep up the good work!
