nicely done guys ... took awhile but good kill

That was awesome, but having the video say, "BOSS KILL" right before you kill the boss really killed alot of the suspense.

January 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterFreshPineSent

jeff is left handed :) just stating the obvious lol

Great kill guys, I'm really looking forward to next week

"having the video say, “BOSS KILL” right before you kill the boss really killed alot of the suspense."

True i guess, I wonder if there was an episode from the past where it said "Boss Kill" but they end up getting wiped...can't remember exactly...

Nicely done guys good job. ;)

glad you guys stuck with it to finish. i am sure by now you have gone and read other strats on how to beat the dragon. since those that do know where probably yelling at the screen for you just "jump" to get rid of the debuff. but cudo's for figuring out what you did without any previous knowledge and getting it done.

Anymore in heroic runs after 3 wipes people just quit cuz the repair bill or there just too frustrated. stick with it and finish it out, that way unless you are wanting a particular item you don't really have to come back.

Good Work PL.

PS - maybe go back to a little bit of the old way with vids. do a couple trash pulls normal, then when you speed up the vid have the little pop up box mention anything special about a particular mob. just my $0.02.

That was an awesome fight, every time I see Dorkins go blue I keep shouting, Move damn it! hehehe had fun :D
i have to say, Lay on hands, save my life more than I can remember, too bad for the really long delay, but yeah, pallies FTW :D

Next time if u do it with Jeff how about you do it with Juggy on Lyle and Jeff on the others that way juggy has mana for the whole fight.

January 30, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterkynigos

When you guys said that if you don't have cleanse you are screwed, isn't exactly true. Not trying to knock juggy but I think your biggest problem was that you had a shaman healer. When my group did it, (me being a resto druid) we usually do pretty well and I think it is because of the fact that resto druids have a lot of HoTs. Therefore I can run around and heal at the same time. But if I am remembering correct I dont remember shamans having HoT's or Insta-heals at level 70.

BTW I love the Jimmy Factor!

OK. We've all done this instance. We all know the tactics.Date of achievement, for Dorkins at least, was 16th Nov.We are now watching a broadcast near end of Jan 2009 and you kiddies think your comment space is to give advice?THIS WAS RECORDED 3 MONTHS AGO. Listen and learn kiddies.
PL. Well done, keep up the good work. We DO want more content (one instance/one week including trash - trash is good), longer videos (tho I dont want to pay your bandwidth bill).
In any case, I'm grateful for what you do (I just want more). Keep going guys and ignore the 10 year old experts who are advising you 3 months after you actually done the content on how to play.

OK i love ya guys. you guys are great, But i have never seen any group have this much trouble with this boss. ive ran it with 69;s and a elemental shaman just like them and they are doing horribly. i dont see any key binds being used Dr dark reacts to slowly with the chains. its a wonder they actually do it. Juggy and Dorkins pretty much only 2 actually doing anything with this group

January 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMAgic harry

considering the date of achievement for the nexus... DORKINS... i hope you have made a macro for "heart of the pheonix"... WAY helpful.

January 30, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterjester

Please dont let juggy run with you guys unless hes resto cause that fight is actually easy-medium not hard at all if you have good heals. Not saying juggy is bad at healing its just he needs to be the right spec.

January 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMax

Jesus are you guys rly that bad? :(
You dont have to move, just jump once in a while and the debuff will reach max one stack..
Also Damn! Jeff you're slow... you run around in circles for like a minute and then cleanse. Get Decursive would be the best advice for you.
And as many people are saying do MORE instances for example heroics, don't show stuff like this which is 3 months old..

January 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJeenyus

I'm sorry, but Jeff is so awful at his toon I want to punch my laptop. As a paladin I find it unbearable. Sorry Jeff is you read this, but it's the truth.

Also, why didn't anyone think to jump in place?... What is with all of this running around? Ugh.

January 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterDalek

no offence but jeff is a disgrace against paladins due to his lack of skill. Hes just running around and everyonce in a while he pulls off only 300 dps -.-

January 30, 2009 | Unregistered Commentererm

RSS feed! :)

I'm kind of scratching my head at what level you all must have been shooting this ... I mean if Schnoobins was 70 (since he could use the 71 loot)... ish!

January 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterAngel

Yeah this was a bit painful to watch, lol. Don't hate on Jeff though, it takes a while to fully master a class, we were all noobs at one point in time. Shnoobs was hilarious too, as a mage I face palmed when I saw a fire mage running around in circles and frost lancing, lol.

To the guy who assumes that everyone here is kiddies, why are you stalking Dorkins? So creepy that you have knowledge on his various achievements. Please realize not all of us spend our time in the armory drooling over Dorkins character when you post.

I agree with everyone else though, speed up the release of your content, there is soooo much more you can do as far as video guides besides just the basic instances/heroics, get creative.

January 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterSpencerer

Just a quick comment, Its a shame seeing the boss's being fought from lvl 70, why not do the guides in heroic form, the boss tactics in each one are the same, that i can think about off the top of my head anyway, and you can also throw in the odd extra boss too.

Its funny when you see people like lovingleetkddies getting angry over something that we pay nothing for and is for everyone. Keep up the good work Project Lore.

*waits happily to laugh at the crazyness of 25 man Loatheb*

Pro-tip for Jeff (the pally): Search around for some mouseover macros to use with Cleanse, or get the addon Clique.

With either of those you won't have to worry about targetting anyone, you'll just have to hover your mouse over whoever you want to Cleanse (in the party/raid frames or their character) and click your hotkey.

You can do the same for Repentance, Hammer of Justice, your heals, etc. Anything you can use on other players and/or mobs. Although I'm not sure if Clique works for Repentance and Hammer of Justice, you might have to use the macro for that.

@Togarox

Juggy was level 80 and was healing as Enhancement.

So yeah.

January 31, 2009 | Unregistered Commenter_Aaron
