BlizzCon 2009 Announced
Blizzard announced today that BlizzCon will be returning the Anaheim Convention Center on August 21 and 22, 2009. Demand was so great last year that they'll be expanding from three halls to four. This should at least allow for a few more tickets to be sold. Sounding very similar to last year, BlizzCon 2009 will be including the following:
I can't wait to hear what else is announced for BlizzCon. Perhaps the new unannounced project that Tigole is working on? This year's BlizzCon is happening much earlier in the year, so hopefully they'll be able to make some big announcements. Last year Project Lore had a great time at BlizzCon, we hope to see some more fans there this year!
- Hands-on play time with upcoming Blizzard Entertainment games
- Discussion panels with Blizzard Entertainment developers
- Competitive and casual tournaments for players to showcase their talents
- Community contests with great prizes
- Commemorative merchandise based on Blizzard Entertainment's game universes
- A silent auction
- More exciting activities and attractions to be announced

I was there last year, but didn't see any of the Project Lore folks. I also didn't see any tweets about any PL meetups. :(
I'm in Boston, so it's not like I get out to Anaheim very often.
Hopefully I'll see you guys this year...assuming I get tickets again. *crosses fingers*
have they said anything about when tickets will go on sale?
Ya I've never been to a blizzcon yet and I really want to. It would be great if you could tell us when the tickets start going on sale
I might go, depends on how I can find the cash to pay for the accommodation and other such things, on top of Download festival. (I live in Scotland, UK, so...)
Need to update my passport too.
They should make one in europe again >.<
I attended last years blizzcon and had a blast!! I would LOVE to attend the convention again this year provided that I can afford the travel and hotel room. Coming from western Massachusetts can be a long boring flight.
