Reminder: Love Is In The Air Ends Tonight
Azeroth's "Season of Love" comes to a close at 11:59 Pacific Time this evening. Considering the coming events, it's amazing we'll see one at all this month next year.
After much frustration with Love Is In The Air in the past, and having my account hacked just a few days before the festivities began, I was initially fretful that I wouldn't get to participate much at all. But much to my surprise, it went smoothly, and I completed all essential meta-achievements except for "I Pitied The Fool" on the first day of my return.
Once I obtained that, and thus, my Violet Proto-Drake, I stopped collecting charms and tokens altogether, leaving several of my other achievements dangling in the wind. But today, on the last day of the event, I decided to pick myself up, turn in all those charms I got from running Icecrown Citadel the past week, and make the most of what was left. Following the jump is a short list of things you can do with the time remaining:
Run Shadowfang Keep one last time! Even with an infinitesimally small drop rate, there's still a chance to procure the Big Love Rocket, as well as an assortment of other goodies including a pet and 226 neck items. Bring enough friends to run through it five times. Buy some new clothes! One of the achievements requires that you get a Lovely Black Dress out of the Lovely Dress Box sold by the holiday vendor. At 20 tokens a pop, you might as well spend any extra you have on this if you haven't earned it yet. Buy anything from the vendor! I did one last round of dailies to rack up enough tokens for the permanent Peddlefeet pet. If you don't have enough, you still have the rest of the day to farm Lovely Charms off of mobs. If you're in Northrend, I'd recommend making laps around the area in Crystalsong Forest that Snap/Snip Snagglebolt sends you to for one of the daily quests (see Heartbourne's Protip). Ten charms make one necklace, which can then be turned in for one token. Stock up on perfume/cologne! If you're a raider, the buffs these items give you can come in handy. Each token can get you five a piece, and though their effects don't persist through death, they do seem to stack with other things like food and flasks. So, even if you couldn't give two flips about the holiday, if you have any tokens or charms burning a hole in your bags, it is worth your time to spend them on this.
And remember, even after Love Is In The Air ends tonight, there are still two more weeks left to complete your Lunar Festival achievements. So get to it!

Gratz on the drake :)
Now having finished the Lunar Festival meta I have 2 achievements to finish in Children's Week before I get my Violet Proto-Drake. I did much like you, I spent a little time gathering charms to get the extra items. I bought several stacks of the perfume VICTORY for my hunter and carefully choose my moments on when to use it.
One of the final achievements is Hail to the King, Baby (kill king of UK with orphan out) and School of Hard Knocks (assault targets in various BGs with orphan out). I am not looking forward to the latter. The former will be a cake walk.
I go for achievements on my mage alt, but i dont think 1 protodrake is enough insentive for a year of frustration (gratz to you for winning it tho :-)) and because those achievements have to be done at that certain moment in time. I did the shadowfang boss once, but havent made a single necklace. FOr the lunar festival so far ive looked for the elders for that little bit of alliance rep for the ambassador title and i killed the boss last year already.
