Leveling Your Priest: Picking Professions
Working on your priest and unsure what professions to pick up? Here are some suggestions on what might be useful to those who go the holy, disc, or shadow route. Once you figure that out, head to our priest leveling guide.
A useful profession for alchemists, it provides the materials for creating potions and elixirs.
Good if you take engineering, jewelcrafting, or for some reason blacksmithing. Get metal ore, metal bars, and raw gems for many items.
Lets you skin animals for leather and hides. These are useful in many leatherworking recipes and some tai235loring recipes.
Make potions and elixirs that will improve certain aspects of your game. This is useful for priests because it can increase your heals or damage, while also giving you a resource to quickly get some mana back during battle.
Doesn't help priests at all, since they cannot use any of the items created.
A decent profession for a priest, this allows you to disenchant valuable items for raw materials used to then enchant your gear with increases in stats and towards the end game/level 70 extremely powerful +heals enchants. Enchanters have exclusive access to ring enchants, like healing or Spellpower.
A fun profession to create many different items that can make the game more entertaining. One of the most useful items engineering priests can create are goggles such as the [Powerheal 4000 Lens] or [Destruction Holo-gogs].
