Juggy Enjoys Hallow's End

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but Hallow's End is here in the World of Warcraft. With all of the new achievements in the game, there are tons of people heading to the Scarlet Monastery to kill the Headless Horseman for his rings, helm, sword, or mount. It seems like the hardest thing to get for the long list of Hallow's End achievements, other than all twenty masks, is the squashling pet. I'm one of the many people in the Totally Rad Guild who, once the twenty mask achievement is removed from the meta achievement requirements, only needs that pet in order to complete the Hallow's End world event achievement and get the Hallowed title. I've seen that pet drop maybe five times in the past few days, and the last one I rolled a two on. That's ok though, there's still a lot of days left in the holiday.
The Horseman, though, is starting to feel a lot like that other farmable holiday boss, Coren, from BRD just a few weeks ago. I've got every single drop off of the rider without a skull that I want, including the Horseman's Reigns (which I rolled a 100 on the first night of Hallow's End). I feel like it's really only a matter of time until I get that pet. Of course, that's how I felt about the Kodo Mount, and I never got that drop. Although, as much as I would have liked a kodo, the Headless Horseman's mount is about a quadrillion and five times cooler to me.
I personally never really participated in the world event quests until now, but the seemingly improved rewards that have been creeping into the game have made it worth my while. While browsing through the hundreds of achievements, these useless points really encourage players to go out and experience all of the world events that Blizzard puts together so well. My only worry is that every time one of these new holidays comes up, we'll have another flavor of the month title. Right now, it seems like at least half of the people I see are in the Jenkins family. I'm sure after the Hallowed achievement is changed, most of those people will that one up. I'm sure it's only a result of new titles and achievements having just been implemented, but I look forward to seeing all sorts of new titles around, instead of everyone having the exact same one. Either way, I am loving the holiday season in WoW so far.

lol last year i could never do this because of school issuess, so it come here again and i got it taken away again...for good this time uninstall wow and cant play it any more so it sucks :*(
I hate you so much Juggy, and so does Jato. I mean he had a higher roll than me, but a 100!? And since then I have not seen that mount drop. You are one lucky... something.
Arg, it sucks being too low level to enjoy these aspects of either Brewfest or Hallow's End. :(
lol... on my realm scarlet monastery entrance looks like a boneyard. our 70s just camp that hall waiting for waves and waves of (soon to be dead) allies.
and i too hate being too low leveled to do all this nice events.. but i have to RUSH if i want 70 before WoTLK hits..
I've only downed the headless horseman 3 times because I haven't had a lot of time to be playing wow.
but those 3 times I killed the HH. He dropped the same ring! and obviously a whole bunch of tricky treats, but THE SAME RING 3 TIMES! Guess I was just having a bad day...
Yea I am one of the people just waiting for the patch 3.0.3 to come out so I can recieve the title. I got very lucky and got the DPS ring, the pumkin helm, the pet, and a broom in one run. I am getting very annoyed because i havn't even seen the Horse mount drop.
My guild's main healer got the horse on the very first kill at 4:02 AM server time. I haven't seen it drop since.
Though I am in a similar boat as you, but I haven't had any masks drop at all for me. Assuming they keep in the 1 mask achievement I'll need that.
I haven't had the horse mount drop yet... SAD!!!! But everyone in my group of 5 that run it daily have the pet :) I have the pet and the helm, thus making my achievement that was mentioned in the last post about Hallow's End... Too bad I really just want the horse mount!

Oh, and in reference to the above post, I ran it like 20x on the first day, because I stood inside with a lock from our guild and we rotated out other guildies to be nice. :)
I got the squashling, sword, and all 3 rings with the first group i went in there with. Since then its always been the rings that dropped. God damn it i want the hallowed helm and the horsemans mount.
ive downed hh 5 times every day i have seen the pet drop 2 times, the cloth helm (he one for the acheivement) 1 time, the sword drop 1 time, and the plate helm 2 times.
i have never seen the mount.
i was the lucky winner of the cloth helm, got the plate helm but lost both times on the pet and, i really diddent need the sword (i wanted it but another in the group needed it so he got it) the rings drop constanly ive tryed 2 2 day (thats 10 times total) where the only thing he dropped was the rings and no one needed it GRRR DAMN YOU HORSE MAN
I'll have to join the club of those who are too low level to fully enjoy Hallow's End. However, I think it's cool that Blizzard took care of that as well by putting some funny stuff in the starting regions where every low-level can access them.
I have a guildy who got the helm, sword, ring, AND mount in the first 8 tries that the event started.
I'm on try#48 right now, and have yet to get the pet or even SEE the mount drop.!!! uggg!!!!
I'm starting to think the Headless Horseman hates me. He has yet to drop anything but rings and a broom that lasts 14 days for me. I have yet to see his helm, sword, vanity pet or horse. Sure I kill him repeatedly 5 times a day, but I'd leave him alone if he'd give me a cool horse that flys in Outland and eventually Northrend.

Well i got my pet of Tricked or treated, so renember to do that as often as u can too Juggy:)
I think the broom mount is great! especially for questing and BG's especially AV on my rogue insta cast. and it help horde win rounds since ally dont go into SM as much as we do. But seriously i rather have the other mount.
the HH hates avryone i only killed him 5 times to busy doing the candy quest wiht lower char i figured FREE exp over achievements and a tittle the times i killed him i got a ring i seen a broom drop but i lost the roll allso in a totaly unrelated subject iam glad that he made his DK a blood good chance to see what it can do i think how you haveto do quest to get talent point sucks and so does starting with a few weak abilitys
You can get the pet and helm by asking any inn keeper for "Tick or Treat". It's random, but it does drop in the "treat" you get.
I've successfully attain this pet for all but two of my toons, and I have not run SM once...
Cheers,
Syn.
I've run HH twice and, I guess I got lucky... I now have the rings, sword, helm, pet and mount....
All these 'Jenkins' people are driving me nuts. They are everywhere!
