a little question: Why dont you guys use Deadly boss Mod? the one time i did Kara it really helped me, knowing excactly when the things are going to happen

October 7, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterJondare

TRG ftw.
btw why doesn't Lyle throw on a dps instead of his shield when he is dpsing bosses?

At last the Tankadin is getting his day on Project lore! (He needs more.)

And yes you can call it a parapet or battlement. Acording to wikipedia

Parapet:A parapet is a wall-like barrier at the edge of a roof or structure. It may serve to prevent unwanted falls over the edge or it may be a defensive, constructional or stylistic feature

Battlement:A battlement, (also called a crenellation) in defensive architecture such as that of city walls or castles, comprises a parapet (i.e. a short wall), in which portions have been cut out at intervals to allow the discharge of arrows or other missiles. These cut-out portions form crenels (also known as carnels, embrasures, loops or wheelers). The solid widths between the crenels are called merlons (also called cops or kneelers). Battlements often have openings between the supporting corbels, through which stones or burning objects could be dropped on attackers; these are known as machicolations. A wall with battlements is said to be crenellated or embattled.

Hope that helps. I have a fever and there are only two perscriptions More cow bell and tankadin! ... sorry I had a lot sugar today. ^.^;

When you were talking about the audience at the opera area, my guild usually kills them, we got this epic tailoring recipe that dropped, so yes there is some good loot in it.

That was my fav so far. You took us on a tour of the money train and an epic boss fight.

Well done.

Extremely insightful to someone like me who has yet to do any significant instances that aren't named Dead Mines.

Great strategy and even better execution. Can't wait for 10.3!!!

Good job team. Finally, a decently long enough video. I enjoyed this one.

Hunters are great for this fight. More than likely every time he lands MD will be up to help the tank get aggro. Bane does an aggro wipe each flight phase and most of the time you'll find him headed for a healer when he comes back to land.

Great job guys, love the vids, keep it up.

why have the paladin tank? way easier if the warrior tanks and stance dances for fears... imo

October 7, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterCheney

This is my favourite boss in Kara, there's nowt better than slaying a dragon! Nicely done too chaps, calm and collected. I usually "poop" my pants running from one charred earth to another,die...wipe. rinse, repeat.
You gotta love those long fights :)

Just in case you guys didn't know or in case no one mentioned it yet: you kill the audience for faction mainly. If it's your first couple of times in Kara, you take out the audience...which is pretty easy to do...and you get faction with the Violet Eye.

Also, sometimes a random purple item may drop too.

Just thought you should know. It's easy faction farming there.

Wow that was a long episode... and I loved it :D

October 7, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterTalonni

I thought this episode was much better than Maiden.

I appreciate the extended strategy time, and explanation. Opera Event is a blast (all 3), and a great example of end game vs a Lowbie instance.

I have a question. What are your thoughts on the new 51 point talents? Which do you consider most exciting/disappointing?

October 7, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterKeith

A paladin tank makes the aoe phase a bit easier, they tend to stick to the tank a bit better.

And while you could just have the paladin tank the adds with the warrior tanking NB, i always found it was easier to have the one tank do it all.

We have uncrushable stat 100% of the time for a reason baby, yea!!
