This boss is fun. My advice is make a macro like in Karazhan at Illhoof with /target frost... It's easier an faster to kill the tomb. It looked like the boss didn't jump on Lyle after the 4 "adds" were dead. Or did you use the plan: kill the adds, wipe and come back again? Oh and another thing I always keep my pet on passive and send him on the mob with Ctrl-1. I know it's slow but I can call the pet to me if the boss does an Aoe or if the pet runs after feared Npcs.
Love the show. Keep up the good work!

One of you guys PLEASE get a guildie to teach that mook how to manage his pet! It's friggin embarrassing and plays into the hands of the whole "Hunters put away your pets in Instances" idiocy.

See what happens when you use other pets then Jimmy? :( Jimmy gets mad!

December 12, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterRey

First of all to understand what happened to jimmy, you gotta understand who jimmy the tiger was. Now jimmy was born to a three-legged bitch of a mother. He was always ashamed of this, man. And then right after that he's adopted by this man, Tito Liebowitz he's a small time gun runner and a rotweiler fight promoter. So he puts jimmy into training. They see jimmy's good. He is damn good. But then he had the fight of his life. They pit him against his brother jeffy. And jimmy said "no man that's my brother, I can't fight jeffy" but they made him fight anyway, and jimmy, he killed jeffy. jimmy said "that's it!" he called off all his fights, and he started doing crack, and he freaked out. Then in a rage, he collapsed, and his heart no longer beat. wow.

Hmmm... Did this cat (kitten) just all Zan a mook? Wow!!! No matter how you define the word, it's an insult. And why are you on this site again?

@Zerbet:

I will fight you. No one fucks with Zand!

December 12, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterBibbo

Zand....just click passive

December 12, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterJoe

All right. The mod Alex is using is called DHUD2. You can find it on Curse (where I found it) or, likely, most other WoW addon sites.

Nice job on Keleseth, by the way! My first time against Keleseth didn't go nearly as well (pally healer).

This clearly isnt hardcore enough for you. I know why the pet attacked, but It really doesnt bog me at all that Zand slipped. Of cource he knows as well. He probably just didnt notice.

We lesser people make mistakes. I know I do. Now go away.

Hey, missed the last couple episodes, so I don't know if it's been mentioned already, but Jeff it looks like you may be using Seal of Vengeance? SoV, like Righteousness, scales with spell damage, and is really for Prot/Holy pallies. Use Seal of the Martyr (Blood for us Horde) or Command. You'll be healing yourself enough to offset the Martyr damage to you, so it's usually best. Command is burst-y, and has sort of a bad reputation, given it's random procs (it's sometimes called Seal of Casino).

You guys got the community wrap up on the RSS feed but forgot this one. :)

*shakes fist*

My 360 wants to be fed some project lore stream. :)

December 13, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterAngel

well if u wanna do some real dps as a ret pally then maybe try seal of the martyr or command instead of seal of vengeance

and btw dorkins ;) if u press passive or defensive in combat your pet will run back to you

December 14, 2008 | Unregistered Commentertheone

u guys are funny but you play so boring, who uses CC anymore and 12 episodes for a easy instance, come on seriously?

December 14, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterhotrod

about to lose a viewer....3 weeks for 1 easy instance

why would i watch this if i could run it myself in less time...start fast forwarding through trash again, and cut out the 10 minutes of you guys silently killing trash

One note about the Boss Fight, the Frost Prisons really should only be focused on by Ranged DPS. Everyone shouldn't go for them, it's kinda a waste of DPS. The Tank should stay on the boss, as well as all Melee DPS. 1 ranged DPS on the Frost Prison should break it fast enough to keep things going smoothly without the travel time needed for Melee DPS, and the rest of the DPS breaks down the boss, so it goes down quick and the healer doesn't go OOM, and the tank dies.

There is an achievement though for killing the boss without breaking any ice prisons.

Passive is probably a good way to go for pets, but if you just want to trap something and your Pet is on it, hitting the Follow command will usually bring the pet back to your side (as long as the mob doesn't hit you if your pet is on passive) and is only one action. Unlike putting them on Passive if you normally play on Defensive, which would then require you to put it back on Defensive once you got your pet where it should be (2 actions).

Lyle: Archmage Vargoth for moral support, that was just awesome!

Oops, "as long as the mob doesn’t hit you if your pet is on passive"

I meant to say Defensive not Passive.

More and more we have people complaining in the comments, if it bothers you that much, then don't watch.
