cool :d
In my opinion the markins beyond skull and X are useless in wotlk since the instances (heroic or not) are so easy that there's really no need for cc
lol give me pie
Ugliest. Hat. Ever.
Hat had chili peppers logo on it. But yeah a pretty ugly hat. And I don't know what bong Zands toking off but I've never reached a "spirit world".
Episode 12.3 and the wrap up still aren't on the RSS feed. :(
CANT STOP MORE PROJECT LORE!
Thanks for taking my question, i really think they should give the tank more face time when he is marking so he can say - "this guy is skull he has to go down first cause he fears" or something similar
I have pretty decent gear, but if you are going straight to Wrath content without epic gear, u would have to cc i think...
plus using a sheep here and there can put less stress on healer and make the runs faster... imo....
Its an English hat that i happen to love, so quit hatin kids!
Great wrap up, glad to see her back
That hat is terrible against that background, but otherwise it's cute. But seriously, I'm a female WoW player that lives in Los Angeles and am slightly ashamed. They could use someone that can actually read their cue cards (or better yet, memorize the thing). I hope she's not an actress, because I work in casting, and after seeing this, would never cast her in anything.
Hat though, tres cute.
welcome back alexis, good to see you again
and awesomesauce, i think you looked a little too far into this....its a wrap up show about a show on the internet .... not a summer blockbuster ... calm down
As an English man i think the union flag (and yes thats the right name for our flag) has never looked so good Alexis ;) love the wrap-ups.
I know this is a long shot but is there any chance of seeing some1 do some Horde quests?
:)
i just wonder when they are going to get alexis in a spare seat for the actual show.
I have a theory...
Zand has a hunter...
Alexis has a hunter...
10 to 1 odds say she has better dps than Zand!
Sorry Zand buddy--it's not personal! :D

Hahahahahaha, okay now seriously, how many wieners did you have to touch for that position? Everyone is thinking it, so i figured i would ask it. If you can't tell that this is ment to be fun, then you didnt get there by skill.
=O. I really love the internet, see the people at project lore can not tell people off for dumb comments; but i can mwhahahahahaha.
Just want to point out that 12.3 is not on the feed while the wrap up is.
All I wanna do is watch a little Project Lore on the Tee Vee...
I don't think that was really what the question was, I think the question meant more along the lines of like for Kills, bringing down the healers first, then melee, then casters (whom are kept CCd till ready for them) or what not. Not saying that is the correct order or incorrect, just saying I think that was more of what the question was...
Ofcourse it all depends on group and play style and what CCs you have to kept things out of fight, but the normal order that is used is either CCing casters and healers first, taking down the melee and then going to healers then casters, or CCing melee and casters, taking down the healers first then casters then melee... but whatever you do its based on group preference and not a needed order because for most things you can keep everything CCd besides the mob your on.
But if you can't its either make sure the healers are CCd or take the healers first that way you have to do as little damage as neeeded to kill the pull since you don't want to be fighting the melee while leting the healers heal the melee.
And as for the markings, from all that I have run/been in its generaly
Skull=kill first,
x=kill second
Moon=sheep if have mage, sap if don't have mage and have rogue
star=sap if have rogue and mage
square= repent if retro pali, trap if no retro pali
triangle= trap if reto pali and hunter
AKA varied depending on which classes where in group, but generaly was "if class x and y then x gets main mark and y gets off mark, but if class x or y then they get main mark"...mainly because the groups I run with all know their priorty in the markings and knows if player b is also playing then whoever has the CC that make more since with the mark then it gets it first, with steady groups the markings are just known, but when runing 4 regulars and a 5th as a PuG then markings need explained in that case, otherwise everyone knows their job, and when AoE is execptable and when it isn't and what not.
I use only 2 marks: Skull=Kill and X=Don't touch. Even if we say we "will" do CC, my party members never do it, so i have to tank them with swipe (as a druid tank). It sometimes goes bad because swipe hold aggro on 3 targets only and the other mobs jump on the healers. Back to marks. Skull for me is for the mob that has the smallest HP, I know sometimes that one hits the hardest but it works for me. X is for high hp mobs that take a lot of time to kill and we use sheep, repent, shackle, hex or trap.
@Ironhoof: Swipe no longer has a limit of 3 targets, it's now everything in front of you in melee range. No tanks should have any problems AoE tanking these instances, so if your healers are pulling aggro, you're doing something wrong.
Hey everyone and Guys at Project Lore.
I seriously don't get what all this fuss is about "Project Lore"
Maybe since Wotlk is now more casual then ever, even shows like this that showcase Nubness at its best can be some-what successful.
Yes i might be a bit harsh but here is some critical feedback that i think they must know to make this actually good for real wow players out there.
Less trash killing videos yeah your comments might be somewhat ok but lets keep that to a minimal there is no reason to take 2 videos for just trash maybe one then boss. get the best of those 2 usual videos and make it one and there u fix problem number 1.
The Group, for the love of god please at least read the manual of the game and class u are playing or screw it read the class forums for a bit before you do the show. learn at least the best dps rotation out there copy a cookie cutter built but cmon no reason for you guys not pushing the dps up there, you are now professional video game players, start acting like one.
You can say well this guys aren't good, or they have lives can't be losers like you and be good at this game.
well to be honest this game doesn't take much skill to be "Good" all it takes is a few to read about your class, what other classes do and can help you.
and of course the boss strats which you guys seem doing pretty good on that part but yeah just take an hour from you normal lives and read about the game in the wow forums or other wow communities you will learn a lot and do way better without much time wasted
overall this just seems like casuals trying to make a show about wow and seems to fail for me, its like watching a doctor doing heart surgery and looking up google how to do it, just doesn't seem to work but i guess some of you like how it is and thats great but would be better if you teach people how to play explain to them why you are doing that rotation for dps, if someone in ur group sucks at dps like for example that ret paladin maybe do a side show where you explain to him and to us what was wrong with his spec. gear. dps rotation. and together we get all better as a community.
you guys have a great chance to make history on world of warcraft by teach people how to play much easer then reading "Guides" you have it all there but the last step.
This game is so popular because of this. everyone comes in this game new and the older more experience players put out guides and such for the new player also it isn't hard to explain in-game.
You want to show this people a real wow experience then do it right by going step by step on how to be better at this game while downing bosses.
anyways hope you guys get to read this i am not trying to be a douche but just sometimes you have to for the greater good. heh
listen to ghosthawk
i have to say i agree 100% with him
also you need more humor like on digg. Alex your hilarious
on digg try to bring it to project lore.
Well good luck guys still watch the shows tho =)
I thought the hat looked perfect on her. And about her being able to out DPS Zand I'm not so sure but she can definitely take him in a duel with one hand tied behind her back.
I'd like to see a segment on what mods you all use. The which, the why, and how it works for your class. And then show how it looks while in play.
my 2 cents,
Good Hunting
