Leveling A Mage... Again...

Mage Armor

Yes. I am leveling a mage... again.

Why you ask.

Well I suppose it's a few different reasons.
1. My guild split up and that sucked.
2. 'Old' content is still fun.
3. I can do it better the second time around.

This time I'll actually pick a quicker path and use addons to help me. For the first 30 levels or so of my first character, I had no idea about addons. None. Now they are so essential to game play, especially in end-game encounters, that I can't believe I did 30 levels without them.

So go get some addons and level up a new toon.

You now you want to

Very cool I am leveling my first Mage and just got my 30 mount which is very exciting. Hope for this is be my 3rd 70 and to get there before WotLK :)

Ive had an Ally 70 mage for a few years and decided to roll hordey. Mostly from Guild Drama and spending way to much time and gold getting prepared and Respecking for BT then not getting any loot.
Started my mage 3 weeks ago and already lvl 68. << not a lie.(Exofrost <<< on Gurubashi).. deep Frost AOE pulls are rediculous. Ill be getting to 69 tonight. Pretty stoked to have my first 70 hordey.

Having leveled 2 60's Pre-BC I have a few things that made leveling this 70 almost too easy.
Noob Things from Blizzard in WoW:
1. Decreasing the Level Cap and Gold purchase for Mounts - (This was a Great Experience and Really helped with AOE pulls and mobility) Im really just a bit spiteful from grinding and grinding to 40 for 5 characters then having to purchase a mount that cost nearly 100G.
2. Increased Experience Gain Pre-BC - Experience Gain Pre-BC is so rediculous. I would literally only play for 3 or 4 hours a night and be able to grind 3-4 levels on a bad day. I made the character on a wednesday night and got to lvl 20 by friday. I played all day on saturday and gained 10 levels. It took me 2 weeks to get to outlands.
3. Blizzard should have decreased the price for your Epic Riding Mount.
