Unfortunately, some of the things the guys were raving about have been nerfed from the game. Shaman no longer get "Spirit Link" for instance. It was replaced with a Heal over Time spell.

@ Goofball Jones: For real? "Spirit Link" was a big factor in making me seriously consider whether or not to change my main's spec from enhance to resto for the WotLK expansion. I may yet decide to go through with the change when the time comes, but I'll definitely be less enthused about it.

yeah i also wanted to swap enhance to resto but if spirit link can't be used in instances anymore i guess i'll stay in enhance cuz it trains easier;p

spirit links removal makes me feel less horrible, cause why would anyone bring a holy priest over a resto shammy? at least this gives us a chance with our aoe heals

I can't wait!!!!

OH what Bull@#$....why does Blizzard always nerf the Shaman. Spirit link was AWESOME and would finally make everyone shut up about the weaknesses of playing a Resto Shaman (shaman is my main and personally think is it a versital and exciting character to play over all of the others). What in the Hell made them decide to nerf spirit link? It did not make the shaman so powerful that running instances would become easy. We can see that as the group wiped on the first and second bosses in Uthgard keep. Goggins you need to throw your weight around with Blizzard and convince them to bring it back!

I'm bummed about not being able to spirit link too as I have a resto shammy, but it will be nice to have a HoT!

Great job guys! I tune in every lunch hour!

Would be nice to see your toon setups for WotLK, showing what you items, skills, experience gained in these three weeks, as opposed to before you entered.

Also, while I see you're all focusing on end-game, and there is probably agreements between both parties, it would be cool to see other aspects of the game.

Thoroughly enjoying Project Lore's WotLK coverage!
