Maintenance Day Duties - I Hate Tuesdays

Tuesday morning has gotten me yet again. Another week goes by where I try to login to World of Warcraft before work and check on my Auction House stuff, do some general bank clean-up and perhaps have a few minutes for some quick dailies. But today is Tuesday, and that means that nothing can be done in Azeroth from the morning to mid-afternoon. When I was a kid I hated Tuesdays because I had CCD after school, now I have a new, non-religious reason to hate them!
(Sidenote: I was going to define that term for you, but I actually do not remember what it means. I do remember that the kids jokingly called it Catholic City Dump though. Plus two internet points to anyone who knows what it really stands for!)
After wallowing in self-pity for a fews minutes I always try to find something else to do. Before I head off to work I almost always get annoyed a second time. It isn't that I think Blizzard is trying to ruin my chances at epic flying mounts for my alts – I know that is exactly what they are doing – that annoys me, but the fact that I never remember it is Tuesday. Yes, yes, I know they put up the message on Monday night, but honestly, who remembers anything from the day before?
After snapping out of my depression I have a few things I tend to take care of during those long hours of waiting. Naturally, one has to check out the numerous WoW-related blogs like:

Finally, I move on to real life stuff like checking my email, my stocks (so depressing as of late), play with my four crazy ferrets, and play other video games. Then I try to login again...it never works.

I too had to suffer through CCD when I was a child, except mine was on Mondays. I have no idea how i remember, but CCD stands for Confraternity of Christian Doctrine. We called ours Catholic Childrens Dump.

never really bothered me,at these times I'm rarely awake or I'm at school,where I don't have the freedom to go on WoW

wow(not the game)ive never realised the time now its 21:11 on my local time and urs is 11:10(maybe)(i know this is off subject)
usually i dont mind tuedays but today is a religious holiday so i have the day off from school and cant play i wish the servers could go down like a different day( during week days):P
I have learned to adjust my schedule around this. I stay up untill just before the realm closes that way I'm asleep for the down time :D. As of right now I ended up getting called sign off on some papers so I am posting around...Yes I know I'm fortunate enough to change my schedule for a game, but hey stuff happens....
I really hate the maintaineance. But, at least the servers don't crash a lot.
This show sux, put in some REAL content, show more of the hostess, I can watch a bunch of guys playing wow on youtube. Discuss something! Talk about stuff! Interview people! Have special guests! Do live content! Get people involved, Make people more interested by showing a character level up and offer tips and video walkthroughs! Something other than a bunch of lvl 70s showing off the fact that they get to play the beta and making jokes about people who arent 70. Content!!!!!

Its ok for us NZers, maintenance is usually late tuesday nights lol, so we end up sleeping before midnight instead of 2am and get a good night's sleep for another day of WoW ><
It's 4am here, move and It's no longer a problem.
Kinda sucks though, there's nothing else to do at 4am. o.o

"Talk about stuff" -- What do you think they do all episode?
"Have special guests" -- They are doing Karazhan right now. It is a 10-man, and they are only a 5-man group. Thus, the other 5 people playing in the show right now ARE special guests.
"Do live content" -- *palmface* Again, what do you think they are doing in each episode?
"Get people involved" -- See the blog you commented in?
"Make people more interested by showing a character level up and offer tips and video walkthroughs" -- *See bottom
"Something other than a bunch of lvl 70s showing off the fact that they get to play the beta and making jokes about people who arent 70" -- If you are refering to the Utgarde Keep episodes, they go special permission from Blizzard to air that, but the PL guys aren't in the beta. And I have yet to see/hear one joke about those who are not level 70.
What you are 'asking' for is a WoW web show, which is exactly what Project Lore isn't. The guys stated, at the creation of this site, that Project Lore was meant to be a place to watch other players play through things for the benefit of the viewer, to actually see how you do things rather then read walk-throughs. If you want a boring web show, go somehwere else, because that is not what Project Lore is.
Simply put, I love Project Lore, and do not take kindly to uninformed people dissing it. >:3

When it's maintenance time, I typically go read the local newspaper, check e-mail, go visit YouTube, or watch TV recordings on the DVR. Sometimes, I'll even have AVG scan my computer -- takes up ~1.5 hours right there -- while doing laundry.
umm dragonpuff, jeez, what a waste of type....show will not last, show sux, hush, i win, bye. :P
DragonPuff, by guests I think he means new 70s that are not geared and will get them wiped with standard trash mobs not even bosses. But I do agree with everything else you stated... plus to add to your "joke" section, they make fun of themselves not other people, such as asking wither the pet should be out before or after pull boss, or putting on arrmor before or after pull boss they where not making fun of anyone but themselves.
Jobo, if you really don't like the show don't watch, no ones holding a gun to your head, a lot of people really like it the way it is. And if your just trying to troll you need to find something better to do with your time.
Jobo also as to your discuess something comment, hmm well by the name of the show Project Lore they could talk about 2 things, Projects or Lore, and well having them play through Kara while talking about how to complete your building of a Birdhouse project just doesn't sound right, so lets have them talk about the lore.... oh wait I think that is what they are already doing.
lol, i hate maintenance.. infact it's 11:11 here right now and they said they'd be done by 11:00 PST time... so for me its in 3 quarters of an hour... what to do, homework? nah... write? nah... watch wow videos on youtube? ya :)
