Project Lore WotLK Beta 1.1

Project Lore ventures into The Wrath of the Lich King beta to explore the new world of Northrend. With all of the new changes to the game, new spells and way they operate the guys spend this episode talking about the new features and then enter the Utgarde Keep in the Howling Fjords of Northrend.

Of course this is the beta, but here are the armory links on the live servers for the characters in this episode: Dorkins, Goggins, Lylelovett, Shnoobins, and Juggynaut.

Our Subscribe page has links for you to follow us on your favorite sites. Use the Episodes RSS feed or Twitter to find out when new episodes are out, and join our Facebook Group, Facebook Page, and MySpace.

Tomorrow at noon PDT, the guys will be heading deeper into Utgarde Keep, so tune in then to see more!

Josh's comment - "This game sucks..." was awesome. Thank you all for spending time discussing the new aspects of the game rather than just rushing into the instance. Although its disappointing to only see u drop a single mob... More for next time i guess. Keep up the good work!

@ Shyn you are both right, the Lich King is the °Fusion° of Ner Zhul (former orc high shaman) + Arthas

to quote Selin Fireheart:"More,I must have MORE!!! My hunger knows no bounds!

DrDark is a retard.

Does he even know any of the lore?

Lich King isn't purely a "Shaman turned Lich King"

Fucking morons.

OMG! I want WotLK right now, looks freakin awesome guys! Im currently trying to level a new char on a new server to get up to 80 when WotLK is released! Project Lore FTW!

Reiss is a retard.

Does he even know anything?

Lich King is a "Shaman turned Lich King" (not purely, just to satisfy you)

Moron.

very cool, but im considering stop watching... i think i want to experience the new content blindly...
have all that awe in my voice as i hit it, like you guys did, rather than feel more 'been there, seen that already'...

good luck, good job!

@Reiss

Dude he is not so much of a nerd like you, he plays the game to play the game, he doesn't pay attention to the storyline. you would know this if you watched all the episodes. I am calling you a nerd because you thought he was a dumbass for not knowing lore. Next comment I'll explain where he forget to say, correction, didn't know.

DUDE I LOVE THIS WISH THEY HAD BEEN ABLE TO GET TO THE FIRST BOSS BUT THIS ROCKS!!!!

Hey guys, loved the longer episode, and I have to say, watching you guys geek out over the new content was probably more entertaining than watching you do the normal raids. I really hope to see more of your reactions in the upcoming eps. Also, I think a lot of us would really like to see what it's like when you guys wipe and what kind of reactions you have.

Thanks for the preview, and good luck

Great video guys! You really look psyched about the expansion, and so are we!

By the way Goggins, nice to see the shaman healing, I'm really looking forward to speccing resto myself in the expansion.

Cheers guys

Basically to sum it all up, Arthas, prince of Lorderan took the sword, betrayed his people (being controlled by the sword) and traveled to Northrend. He destroyed the ice that the warlock Ner'Zhul was in and puts on his helmet, merging the two. If anyone would like a brief story, email me at jattyterenas@yahoo.com

September 8, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterCody

You realise that Arthas, aka the Lich King, was originally a Paladin and not a Shaman....

Also he gained the power of the Lich King when he put the helm on, it had nothing to do with Kael...

September 8, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterArlethvann

The Lich King was an entity created by Kil'jaeden the Deceiver from the spirit of the orcish shaman Ner'zhul. Initially trapped within the Frozen Throne, the Lich King eventually merged with the human Arthas Menethil. He is the creator of the Scourge and rules over it telepathically from his throne atop the Icecrown Glacier.

Hey there, Good to see you on the beta, showing all the content, and the things that some of us can't try.
I am on the EU beta, but during the day the Instance server is so unstable it's hard to find a group lol.
I was just wondering, do you use any addons in the beta? And if so which ones? Struggling to find any useful ones that work. :s

Reply soon, thanks.

More and more Alex's vision for this site is coming true. We're all hooked, and are left wanting more with every video. And a shaman-cc? Ohhh-ho-ho-ho. It's for sure I'm coming back to the game now.

September 9, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterEcco

Also, it kind of just hit me when I was watching our main characters here going about their business as usual. Like, "these guys are gonna be really awesome." NOT that they aren't already!!! BUT, what I AM saying is after they come in to "work" and sit down in those chairs so many times they'll get more and more comfortable in those chairs, and there is a double meaning to that.

After they care a little less about their presentations, which can only come after a many many videos, they'll just get cooler and cooler. And the funny thing is it's not up to them! Because they're becoming familiar to us. Except for Juggy he doesn't really, say anything funny but everyone else rocks!

September 9, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterEcco

Hey dudes
Awesome vid, you guys are great. i kinda wish i'd thought of this as a way to get my stunning good looks on the web. I was just wondering what Zand was trying to say under the table at 0:50? looked pretty funny anyway.

September 9, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterBen

It would be so cool if for Wotlk episodes you make like icy team instead currently fire looking one.
-cheers

This video format is very fun and entertaining to watch. I'm looking forward to the next episode. Will you guys be coming out with new episodes on a weekly basis? Also, it looks like you guys are missing that 5th party member...hmm, maybe I could arrange my schedule :P
