Project Lore WotLK Beta 1.1

Project Lore ventures into The Wrath of the Lich King beta to explore the new world of Northrend. With all of the new changes to the game, new spells and way they operate the guys spend this episode talking about the new features and then enter the Utgarde Keep in the Howling Fjords of Northrend.

Of course this is the beta, but here are the armory links on the live servers for the characters in this episode: Dorkins, Goggins, Lylelovett, Shnoobins, and Juggynaut.

Our Subscribe page has links for you to follow us on your favorite sites. Use the Episodes RSS feed or Twitter to find out when new episodes are out, and join our Facebook Group, Facebook Page, and MySpace.

Tomorrow at noon PDT, the guys will be heading deeper into Utgarde Keep, so tune in then to see more!

Very excited to see Utgarde Keep, I haven't had much time to spend in the Beta yet, and I probably won't have a chance to see any of the instances until release day anyway.

The new talent trees are amazing and they have some very impressive new abilities in them.

Keep up the awesome work guys.

you guys are like the brother who buys a new game and plays it in front of us all day without letting us play, then at dinner talks about how awesome the game is. thanks.

@ andrew

No, they are worse than that little brother because I would be happy with watching them play all day. Instead they tease us with one pull and make us leave the room. *cry

omg that was awsome ude can u tell me where to get the devilsuar lol and joshua can u tell me what gear to get to tank ty

Wow, awesome you guys, but I am depressed at your favoritism of the resto shaman as a healer, you guys should get a holy priest to take Goggins place for one episode because the talents for a Holy/disc priest are RIDICULOUS!!!!!

As far as a Death Knight goes, if they wanted to include it in a future episode, it starts off at lvl 55, and those instances are lvl 70 at least. So if you wanted to see any instance runs with death knight, they would most likely be the ones from outlands, or vanilla wow.

Now something that I would be interested in seeing however, is the hunter using a different exotic pet. that would be really cool to see the animations for core hounds, chimeras, the worms, moths, etc.

Or what would be really interesting, is to have everyone go their off spec, but do their main spec roles, because that is something that blizzard is trying to do. Adding talents, and changing co efficents to make it so elemental shaman can heal effectively, arms or fury warriors to be able to hold aggro about the same as a prot warrior in TBC can, ret paladins healing around the same as holy paladins in TBC, etc. Would be cool to see how some of that comes together.

I heard someone mention in your beta video that omen wasn't working. they have a built in threat meter now with wotlk.

Nice to see you guys in the beta! keep up the good work.
Cant wait to see the other episodes and ofcourse the new exciting things in wotlk!

September 8, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterSurreal

Loving these longer episodes.. I could watch a full 30-60 minutes of you guys gabbing on about WoW.

Its almost like I have actual friends!

September 8, 2008 | Unregistered Commentermonkeystick

LOOOOOL!!! WOW the xpac is gonna be so damn epic! lol they were so like, intrigued by every little thing hahaha! great episode and cant wait for the next one.

BTW, if i remember correctly, the Lich King was not a shaman, he was a paladin once known as Prince Arthas. And the reason that he is this Lich King guy is because his greed for power, frostmourne, and the helm made him evil. And im not sure about the "tortured by Kil Jaedan" part. Correct me or add more info to that if im wrong.

September 8, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterThe Shin man

Just Epic - nothing more , nothing less , you could make even more longer episodes , without some commentary on pulls(like it was before), its just fun to watch them making every single pull.
