Oh Last Week of the Nexus.

Wonder which instance will be next!

Keep up the good work.

AN with any luck.

Honestly though, I'm so sad they were unable to do this on heroic. I just find this to be a more interesting in heroic mode with the extra boss and extra trash mobs.

sweetness for the longer speed!

The PL team has issues with fighting mobs they don't need to, this would be fine if they were wanting rep later on but for now it just wastes time in their videos. Still good job on first attempt on boss that fight can be overwhelming at times.

@Jedda

I would normally agree with you on this. It does take up extra time for them to go through the trash mobs but they wouldn't know that they can skip some of them. They haven't run the instance before and don't know the strategy. So though we may now know the most efficient way to clear the instance, they are still finding it out without the help of guides. Because of this, I don't think it's a big deal they fight extra mobs at times.

Great video all. Good job getting through a hectic fight (least it was for me the first time I tried to heal through it).

Yes 18 minutes! my prayers have been answered lmao
Thank you guys for the longer episode i've been waiting for.

Keep up the good work!

The RSS feed is missing 13.6, the wrapup, and now this. Not cool guys! I need my PL fix tonight.

THIS is what i watch project lore for:
* Long videos
* Not speeding up trash
* Boss fights

And now we got it all in one video :)
Keep em doing this way, long videos with a boss at the end, way more fun to watch than the average 5 trash pulls

Agreed. Nice long episode with a boss fight at the end is very nice.

What is with all the CC though? Just tank ffs. You'd have them all dead by the time is takes to mark them up, explain what is gonna be CCd and wait for trap CDs, etc :P

But anyway. Good work. Keep it up.

Just wanted to say thanks for teaching me how to run instances. before i started watching i had literally no idea what to do in a raid, now i am in high demand as a healer on my server, mostly because of what i have learned form watching here. you guys are awsome and you are doing way better than i did the first time through the nexus, we wiped on the rollercoaster lady and the blob, cant wit to see if you all figure out the jump part of the dragon

January 26, 2009 | Unregistered Commentereroni

Just a tip: All ranged attackers and casters or even your healer in some cases (shaman/druid) can kill the 'Chaotic Rifts' without engaging combat. So before you guys pull those mobs *this definetly helps on heroic* get your casters and ranged to nuke down those rifts. Saves a lot of trouble and could prevent wipes.

January 26, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterDavo

Not sure if it changed with the last patch but when I ran this the casters in the group were losing mana while in the glowing cloud after killing the elite elementals. The debuff was called "Lose Mana".

By the time you guys finish Northrend instances, my main will have run them all 50 times over.

Seriously guys. The original format was gold. Trash is EASY. I don't understand why it takes 10+ minutes to explain how to get through it. D:

January 26, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterFreaKeroppi

Davo mentioned what I was thinking while watching this.

I am sure that the guys have figured this out by now, but those who haven't run Nexus or have only done it once or twice - the Chaotic Rifts can be shot down by long range deeps without pulling the other mobs. Great for lightening up the load for the rest of your team. ^_^

Best episode in a long time. Fuld rund plus boss kill like the old days. I miss that. Good joob guys.

Teamwork is cool and all, but this much CC really isn't required in my experience with this instance.

I'm with Keyla and Gogeta

one thing to hippocket why use seal of venganse(the dot seal) it is tank seal use the one you are takeing dmg for doing more dmg or seal of command for dmg as ret.

this episode was nice... i am in agreement about the over-use of cc..BUT we do have to realize that what we're watching didn't just take place yesterday. they have pretty much just started the wrath of the lich king and are still going by the how they're used to playing. we've all been running the northrend instances for quite some time and know that all the cc isn't necessary. i'm sure we'll see a shift in later episodes...i hope anyway. =)

What is the Add-on that Dorkins is using to track DPS?

January 27, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterninomachi

Love this show!
Have to say i prefer this long episode to the shorter past ones.
I watch the show half for its wow content and half for the fact that these guys are absolutely hilarious!

Keep up the great work PL team!

January 27, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterKFX

I was wondering if they could do for the next epsiode some of the old BC end game stuff like black temple or Mount Hyjal

January 27, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterBrady

I ask because my guild is trying to gear up for northrend and we have no idea how to do the instances
