Blizzard Releases New Ulduar Video

There's a new Ulduar preview video, and unlike last time, it's straight from Blizzard. I've embedded it here in HD, but you can also download it in various formats and watch it on Blizzard's site, if you want. Now, this trailer may include some spoilers for those of you who are averse to finding out anything about  Ulduar, but I couldn't help but watch it through a few times.

From what the preview shows, the new raid being added in Patch 3.1 looks to be much more diverse than what I had originally thought it might look like. The few mobs that are shown look spectacular, as do many of the rooms that look to be where boss fights will take place. There's a small hint about the controversial vehicular combat included, but still not a ton of details about what will be encountered.

What are your thoughts? Are you avoiding all hints of what's inside or can you not get enough info?

Not the kind of trailer I was expecting, but it gives a nice overview of Ulduar.

later parts of the video remind me of gnomergan.

this is where we find out that gnomes and dwarfs came from the same path, but the gnomes were gheys with pink hair, so the titans made them smaller.

I 100% can't wait for it. Granted I'm probably not geared though :(. I'm totally going to be taking a screenshot at everychance, the visuals are just EPIC. The bosses look cool too. This is Blizz's way to reward the Lore nuts. In other words, me :P

Thanks Juggy

and keep up the good work PL

Was anyone else struck by the similarities between the leaks content and this content. Almost like the same people decided what should go into each.

Blizzard has designed some beautiful and Epic looking instances since WoW's release but I think I can say this looks like their best work, the design just looks so beautiful and diverse and the sheere size of the thing they are showing us is Epic.

Can't wait to see this instance and find out why we are fighint Hodir, Thorim, and Freya I mean I thought they were on our side?

Idk, surely will be interesting!

You guys with the 3D nvidia gonna get epileptic seizures :D
That is 1 awesome dungeon. Imagine guys, if in 3.1.0 you're already going up against the Titans, sooner rather than later, you'll be barging through a portal and storm Argus (burning legion planet) and fight Sargeras himself.

Is it just me, or does that last room they showed look alot like on of the mako Factories from Final Fantasy 7?

February 25, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterVoldenmist

There's something very FF7 Midgar-ish about the music playing coupled with the magical-mechanical feel of Ulduar's graphics... Love it :)

February 25, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterFritzTheCat
