Battle Bots Are GO!

Ever since Mountain Dew's Game Fuel promotion started back in May (the drink itself is just now starting to show up on store shelves), people have been wondering when exactly they'd be able to get their hands on the associated Battle-Bot vanity pets. Well, good news everyone! They're finally here!
If you've already signed up for the promotion, then you're halfway there. Simply go to the website, log in, and click the button in the lower-right hand corner. Be warned: you will need to have a Battle.net-linked Warcraft account in order to receive the pet (it's a good thing to do anyway, for added security and the option to digitally download all your favorite Blizzard games once you've authenticated them through the site -- not to mention beta opt-ins!).
Once you've gone through all that, simply log out of your WoW account in-game and then log back in. The key to your new mechanical bruiser should be in your mailbox.
I have to say that these little guys (invented by famed Gnomish toymaker and proprietor of Wonderworks in Dalaran Jepetto Joybuzz) are actually really cool. Click on them, and they babble in some obscure techno-language (no doubt subliminal messages telling you to buy more Mountain Dew). You can also fuel them up with either a red or blue mixture, and when your Battle Bot encounters another one with the opposite color, they'll get into a fist-fight. Sadly, it seems that the only way to obtain the fuel right now is to visit the Mountain Dew page every day and click through the same image as before.
Hopefully, there will be some sort of in-game method for claiming the juice once the promotion period is over.
On that note, I have actually found individual bottles of Game Fuel at the local Wally World, but only the Horde-themed red (perhaps this town ain't so bad after all!). The bottle says "Citrus Cherry," two flavors that I generally like, but ends up tasting something like carbonated bubble gum. Not entirely unpleasant, but it probably won't appeal to everyone's palette. Never tried the Halo 3 stuff, so I'm not sure if it's any different, though the Alliance version is some sort of berry (and I use that term very loosely).

As far as i know, only americans are able to obtain these. I live in Canada and the website gives a message saying i am unable to apply :(
@DV188
Unfortunately true. This seems to be a US-only promotion. I don't think Canada's ever been privy to an exclusive pet, but this is the first time the States has, as far as I know.
I got mine after numerous attempts to connect to the Mountain Dew site (Bugger doesn't like my Computer).
These little dudes are pretty sweet. ;]
@ Zack
Yeah, apparently it's getting kind of hammered right now. Only had to try a couple times myself, but once I got through it was a piece of cake.
@ Amatera
Apparently, the users over at Wowhead talked to an EU Player and he's discovered a way to get the Battle Bot.
Full Article is Here: http://www.wowhead.com/?blog=101537
Hopefully that helps some of the EU Players. ;]
@ Zack
Awesome! Glad the love's being spread around a little bit.
Besides, this is one pet whose awesomeness really increases when there are a lot of other ones out there for it fight!
I threw up an idiot proof guide on my site...lol but as of right now there is a glitch and a few UK games have gotten this.
Just got mine. Now i gotta get some fuel!
Thanks for the info Zack now this European guy has his battle bot to :D
I only wonder how I can get him in a blue colour, I already made sure I am at alliance side but I don't know how to fill the bot up.
Any info on this will be appreciated.
@DV188
I live in Canada and it worked fine for me. :S
@DV188
hey im from mexico and i had the account details set in mexico then i changed to US and now i got my robot well i guess i cant log in into Wow cuz i dont have membership ( school sucks) but i clicked on send robot to acc or something and i get Congratz .........
How do i get the fuel? I have the bot, but when i click on the "claim the bot and fuel up" link i get teh messege i have already recieved a prize come back tommorow... should I come back tommorow?
actually the blue tastes much better than the red i guess the folks over at mtn dew know how its supposed to work =p
@thedude
That's the assumption. That page should allow you to obtain fuel which will then, presumably, be sent to your inbox in the game.
Just do what zack says..im Australian and it worked :D im so happy!
Haa Ha that is another achievement for you. Sweet D00d now you got anoter 'pet' too bad you do not have a twinke pet achievement for the twinkie products cause all the fat mother fuckers would be getting that one too. I bet the big blong wizrd gnome newb would do well with a pet like that then he could stop pretentending talking like a high pitched girl and acting like a wanker on line is cool.
I suggest doing what Zack says.... worked great for me!
For those looking to get the bot fuel. You are only allowed 1 item per day to be redeemed, and on the first day that item was the bot. the next day, or today if you got your bot yesterday, just follow the same link on the website that you got your bot from and it will ask you what color fuel you want. 1 item per day though, so you have to keep going back
I can't apply bacause i live in england :(
Did you try the EU Walkthrough Dragoro?
Read this article from Wowhead and try it. Hopefully it works!

Originally, I was just going to ignore all this but... the in-game bot's cuteness has gotten to me. :lol:
i cannot verify my battle.net account for some stupid reason any1 y?:(
I haven't seen the new drinks in the store yet, but what you describe as the Horde drink sounds like the Halo one; liquid gummi worms.
According to WoW Insider, Battle Bots won't be available to EU Players for much longer.
Sorry guys.

Is this a one-time-use thing? or is it a bind on account item to learn it?
