I think we've all brought that special someone home to our parents only to have them shot down for not playing WoW.
What really jumped out to me was Mrs. Leet commenting that this boy who watches VHS tapes and uses a corded phone "might as well play Alliance." The first time I checked out Project Lore, I was severely disappointed that it was a group of Alliance characters plowing through dungeons. Somehow, this stigma of Alliance attracting n00bs and young kids while the Horde attracts a more "mature" audience is ingrained into my way of thinking. I've really tried to level Alliance characters, but having played Horde for years I can't get over my biases.
For all you Alliance players out there, do you still watch VHS tapes and use corded phones?

Evidently Silver Hand server is the the opposite of the rest of the world because the 90% of the people I've encountered were reasonable adults. The Horde is a sorry excuse for an army on that server too.
1 rule that still applies: Gnomes have the highest fail rate.

I do have a VHS Star Wars episode one tape, but no, no corded phones :D
After clicking on a dwarven rifleman in warcraft 3 enough times, and hearing him shout "THIS... IS... MA... BOOMSTICK!" how can you NOT roll a dwarf :)

Alliance maybe or maybe not a noob audience, but they're getting the worgen and I am totally envious of them. I'm very tempted to turn to the alliance when the next expansion is released.

What I don't get is the large amount of servers that have more Alliance over Horde. Yet everyone always yells out "For the Horde!" Me, I always wanna yell out some obscure and random faction or name. XD I swear next time I go to fantasy weekend at RenFest I'm so yelling out "For the Lich King!" or something. XD
As far as the video goes. *giggles* I wish my family was like that.
I play alliance, but what are you talking about? How would a phone work without a cord? And how would I watch films without VHS tapes? =P
Anyway I saw this video a while ago, but it's still funny.
It's funny but on Alliance, we assume the same of the Horde: that they are nothing but noobs and immature players (and that is what we often see when they gank us for no reason (especially when one cannot get honor from said gank)).

VHS sucked the moment it was invented.
Corded phones however have a certain style to them. Also you can twiddle the spiraled cord into one unsolvable knot during long calls if you are a nervous person.
I kept using an especially old school one with a rotary dial until a few years ago when finally the microphone capsule just got too bad and would only produce too much noise.
Since then I use a modern cordless one. Incidentially I got married soon afterwards.
And on the "the other side are noobs", Bith just hit the nail on the head.
Its the same with old people a kids on the subway that are listening to bassless music on their cellphones and annoying the whole car.
Older people will remember just them and say that kids have no manners. But only because they do not notice all the friendly well behaved kids that also ride the subway, but do not make a nuisance of themselves. Or have brought a proper ghetto-blaster with a full audio spectrum along like we used to do.
