Remember When: Project Lore Horde Deadmines

tigers-cant-use-bridges

As we've said before, we are on a bit of a hiatus from making videos. So, to help hold you over we wanted to remind you of all of our past episodes that we have, including some of our favorites. This week we'll bring back the Deadmines episodes that were not only a blast, but also spawned the infamous "Tigers can't use bridges" saying that so many people loved.

If you just can't get enough of Project Lore be sure to check out our huge archive of previous episodes and follow our Twitter for the latest updates!

August 4, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterhigy

Tigers can't use Jeff Bridges? Why would they want to?

August 4, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterPatrickD

great episode.

but when can we expect a new video? we only received one vid last week.

i know you all have lots to do, not just with the site, but with your own ingame things to do as well. However, only one vid was a bit of a downer.

Anyone remember Jeff and Zand singing about Moonfire?, that was awsome :)

Omg I love those episodes. "I'm putting all my eggs in the basket of Tigers-Can't-Use-Bridges". I giggle still just thinking of that.

The way I see it is a video everyday for 5 days is insane. Like I've followed alex (and Jeff) through TRS and just Alex through diggnation and they only release a video a week and I'm perfectly satisfied with what they put out. Just give em a bit of a break. It's near impossible to release all this. Especially with ComiCon ending a week or so ago. And Alex getting ready for all his live shows he's been doing (live diggnation tomorrow:D) Its totally understandible. If we're allowed to be busy and not get yelled at by people them that are too. So just enjoy 3.2 content and give PL a little break

I would be cool with a video a week if it were a whole instance or a boss group in raids, I quit keeping up with the videos because the partials often didn't even make it to the first boss or spent to much time dicking around I found myself bored and ready to just go play the game myself.

c'mon dudes of PL. get ready for Ulduar!

August 4, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterBoneshock

Rock on dudes - I support you and your actions :)

gotta love that pic...considering i made it :D

thanks for using it again, Project Lore Editor :D

This post spells it all. It´s just the confirmation of what i knew for some months now, since they stopped the dungeon runs videos and started the bullshit videos of dailies and mount runs

PROJECT LORE IS DEAD.

I just hope something as or more exciting comes up our way.

RIP PROJECT LORE

RIP Project Lore.

Project Lore is not dead... not yet anyway. Last time I saw him, Juggy was IN Ulduar. I just /who Juggynaut on Executus server and there he was.

Didn't bother him of course, but I think the reason they are taking so long with new stuff is that they have to go DO it and then go edit the vids and all that jazz... you get the idea.

So just be patient peoples. PL will return eventually (I hope); and when they do, it will be even more awesome than before. Perhaps they will start with 10-man Ulduar the way they did Naxxramas. Who knows? :)

Personaly i think they all broke up becus there hasnt been a Video with All of them in 3weks

August 4, 2009 | Unregistered Commenteroaky

Well there aren't many instances worth going over these days...such as heroics...once you hit naxx heroics will just drag you down (well not anymore since you get conquest badges) and there are ALOT of people doing at least naxx 10 and already know (and even hate) alot of thoose heroics....Luckily Ulduar is still a possibility in the future and now ToC (which from what i saw on the test realm will be worth watching) there just isn't alot that you can just go do a video worth watching atm...other than alot of the older things like mount runs and dailies (which unfortunately are on par with heroics these days...at least for me)

August 4, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterZidius

Itd be awesome if they did ulduar or a 40 man like eye of eternity

August 4, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterTItianmur

RIP Project Lore

August 4, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterRyan

Or they could even keep up with the horde-side characters and continue the old world content. That would be just as great in my opinion

August 4, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMekkire

It's summer, they have other projects and lives as well. I'm sure they'll be back in force in the fall.

August 5, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterSam

Haha, Project Lore is dead...you do realize PL is not these guys main focus of their lives. Alex also has Totally Rad Show and Diggnation, Jeff has Totally Rad Show (and recently traveling with Diggnation due to ComicCon), Josh is a producer for Attack of the Show, I'm sure Zand has a life of some sort, Brandon is really the only one who is the WoW expert. Just watch Naxx again, or Kara, or the very entertaining Lich King beta content. There's plenty for you to watch until PL gets together to film an some heroics/raids.

My experience as a business person leads me to believe that the PL folk simply didn't anticipate the size and popularity of PL - it's not at all uncommon for entrepreneurs to have a reasonable plan for a modicum of success but no plan at all for how to handle hitting a "home run" (they don't want to seem overly optimistic when pitching the concept, etc., so they never work up the "wildly successful" scenario.)

It also appears that they have "human resource" issues - the Big Red Kitty implosion, Jeff for Jerry substitution, etc. - that, when combined with the need for the regular team members to, y'know, make a living and all - makes it damn near impossible to "get the band back together" in order to shoot new content.

None of this is insurmountable, and some of it (the more-popular-than-expected part) falls into the "problems you wish you had" category, so I'm not buying the "RIP Project Lore" crap - they will re-organize, re-populate the team, and return with fresh content (and as mentioned above, a substantially less insane production schedule!)

Patience, young padawan.
