Project Lore WotLK Beta 2.1: The Halls of Lightning

Project Lore goes back to the WotLK beta again, this time as level 80 toons. They group up and fly to The Ulduar Halls of Lightning, a level 80 instance in The Storm Peaks. Watch as our Project Lore guys take on this epic instance.

For these episodes, the team used premade level 80 characters, they are Dumpins, Shnooberella, Lylelovett, Uglynaut, and Undone. Remember that this was shot in the beta, so things can and already have changed since then.

Use our Subscribe page to find links to follow us on places all over the internet. You can also use the Episodes RSS feed or Twitter to find out when new episodes are out, and don't forget to join our Facebook Group, Facebook Page, and MySpace.

Every day this week, we'll have more for you at noon Pacific, so check out each episode!

Alexis is only in the wrap ups, not the regular shows.

Why not let Alexis play? Lots of people wanna see her (When she isn't in arena).

Jerry<3 I miss him. QQ. I hope he comes back soon. ^-^ Besides the fact that Jerry's missing, this episode seems to be pretty badass.

1. too much video of people talking - the gameplay video is the only interesting part. this is a problem with every darn video-cast and video-blog out there, and is relevant in this video too.

2. how hard is it to not call dalaran "dalarion" ?

ignore the haters, i love the talking and commentary. Getting just a bunch of gameplay footage is boring and confusing. I prefer the jokes you guys make and just the reactions to the game. This show is coming along very nicely and its much more organized. Good job guys and keep it up.

A ret pally's primary seal for PvE is blood.
For PvP, you use command.

Blood = 35% of weapon damage on every swing, and it's judgement scales much higher damage than command's. You take damage from dealing dmg with seal of blood, but more heals -- > more mana with Spiritual attunement.

i think the reason why you had trouble tanking "lylelovett" is because you are wearing pvp gear. instead of having defense rating to increase your dodge, parry, block and prevent you from being critted you had resilience which only decreased your chance of being crit (but not as effectively) the only difference is that you carry mroe aggro with the strength and crit bonuses of the pvp gear. but you were not mitigating hte damage and you were being critted

Correction, Riptide does instant heal, plus some HoT, AND improves your next Chain Heal by 25%, BUT consumes the Riptide on your target.
Also, the new weapon enchant for Shamans, like Windfury, Flametongue is EARTHLIVING, which also does a small HoT, and also enhances you with some extra healing.

Love your show :)
