Yes I comepletly agree with you. I have been waiting for some kinda giant zombie army to surround cities and just start attacking and have every player stand and defend their home town. I would love to see that happen.

Actually that would be a very good idea Dimak, I like that a lot.

But just as Juggy I was getting slightly angry of dying everytime I put something in the AH and running back, paying repair bills.....

What really sucked is playing as an alt when a level 70 zombie came along. I stood no chance, would get turned into a zombie, and then killed by the guards right off. LAME!

Has anyone noticed the shades lurking around major cities and larger towns? It appears that they've come with the necropoles and they just stand there, freaky like.

This reminds me of "Signs" or "Independence Day".

Its almost like a big raid on the Major City's but with Zombies! =) like Dawn of The Dead.

A massive zombie army raided Silvermoon City on my server, (Moon Guard), not long ago. There had to be at least 1 and a half raids full of zombies.. all charging in the front gates at once. If you got in the middle of it, instatnly transformed. My tactic as a pally was run, Excorcise, run, Holy Wrath, rinse and repeat. Bubble now apparently doesnt heal you either, if your infected and bubble, sorry pallies, your insta-zombied.. I am glad its over though. Too much destruction. I do like taking out the necropolis' though. =3

But yeah, I would like to see the races try to make a stand against the scourge, but slowly lossing parts of their major cityties, for exaample humans get pushed back to the cathedral, dwarves make their last stand at the great forge while everything else has fallen into the hands of the scourge.

i keep hering that orgrimmar and stormwind are supposed to get set on fire or something....stormwind is supposed to fight off the attack but orgrimmar is supposed to get temporarily destroyed or something....that would be crazy if it really happened

yup forgeting to playing repair bill... runing halfway through instance and sudenly this little armour guy show up red in front of me.. lol Oh yea it will be cool if alliance and horde unite jus once to fight against the scourge maybe this is y blizzard make that opposing factions' zombies can talk to each other? I maybe wrong but hey it will be right up there wit the rest of the AWESOME events!!!

Silly people trying to plague everything. I must say toward the end of the epidemic it got really annoying...

Now I kind of miss it. Funny how that happens?

Aparently, things are supposed to get worse =D There's supposed to be a setup for some serious in faction a$$ whooping (that's Horde Vs Horde and Alliance Vs Alliance). If it's anything as crazy as the zombie thing i'm looking forward to it. I loved watching Org and TB get over run by zombies. and all those that QQ'd over it, just sit back and enjoy. this kinda lore doesn't come along every day

There was a zombie raid on SW on my server also (Oct 27th). It was pretty epic really. Mass craziness for a while. So yes the plauge ended. Yes it did have a good ending not just a fizz, The thing is it was in the middle of the day. I have not seen a zombie since then. I kinda miss them.

i was looking forward to see the stormwind gates fall to teh power of teh scourge i even imagined aliance and horde to team up to fight the scourge just like they did so long ago on mount hyjal that whould have been so cool perhaps the fraction whould have shown some respect for one another at least for allitle while anyway that was my fantalsy it doesnt look liek is gointo happen but it whould be cool not to get ganked so much as for if teh zombies should be made easier to kill no way the power of the zombies come from that you dont have to kill the person your fighting just turn into zombie thats what makes am fun if u made that easier they wont be as fun

the whole zombyfication event from zomby bay, was real fun =) actually now i miss the sound of been chased by a hundred unliving brain hungry creatures, i was getting kinda happy with them =), it was also fun to play a little rol trying to defend our incent npcs from the evil. as a doomkin was kinda easy to manage a few, but sometimes their numbers grow fast, and you just cant scape anymore, and you become infected, so you keep your rol as a zomby trying to eat the inocets npcs in the name of the ONE true king...
one thing i really became disapointed was the fact thar, the cure, and the whole end of the event was so boring. too quiet, i was specting a ridiculity of a invasion with thousands of zombys, and you getting a special power to anihilate them all. kinda :spoiler: the quest of the canons in the ships for the DK quest line...
well was a great event but with a boring ending... so we think it ended right??

So all in all the zombie raid sucked. I had done some grinding and went to go put stuff in AH and the bank, and I got infected and died every five minutes. I ended up just trying to get as much done as I could during the 60 sec infection. Then I got stuck in Wetlands forever because some guy thought it was funny to infect the FM every time she respawned.

But I do miss the massive piles of bodies lying around Stormwind, though. Good times.

Yes, I am excited to see what Blizzard has in store for us for the weeks to come before the xpac.

Im going to miss all the zombies, it was fun pwning zombies and saving ppl from being zombiefied. Though i did hate the QQ that came with it, but it made going into cities exciting if i had to use the bank or the auction house i would kill zombies then do my thing then go back out and if i needed to AFK i would just go to a small town or stay in the air in shattrath. As for the battle masters i would just bg in undercity since sylvanas personally guards them.

And for my alts i just camped outside silvermoon, and so no zombies at all i had. It was a fun event...makes me wish it was november 13 already

After complaining publicly about You're Infected! I have to admit to feeling like an idiot. I shouldn't have been so irked by being part of a world event. I'm glad it's over. It was fun playing yesterday though with zombie bodies laying everywhere and spotting those smoky creatures hovering here and there. I love how ominous those things floating above the cities are and I'm anticipating the part they will play.

OK i totally came up witha good idea as i was skimmign everyone's ideas and comments above.

BLIZZARD SHOULD MAKE WINTERGRASP AND STORM OF ANCIENTS SCRYERS VS. ALDOR!!!

i like the idea of horde and alliance against scourge. I do know on our server Quel'dore - US the alliance are a ton of 12-16 year olds who switch from horde cuz the adults in the horde cant stand em and make em feel bad.

Horde is viscous on our server and unless ur there to benefit the cause of gearing up or leveling fast.. we boot ya. not me personally but that seems to be the mentality of the horde.

Alliance actually help each other out and want to see each other succeed. Of course that generosity is probably what makes u die in every bg... except av since blizzard favored u guys.

BUT PUT THE TWO TOGETHER and u might have a team of vicious pvp'ers who help each other out in destroying each other. Horde = destroy. Alliance = plan.
