WotLK Special Episodes Starting Next Week

We at Project Lore are excited to announce that on Monday, September 8th, we will be kicking off three weeks of daily Wrath of the Lich King beta episodes. That's right, we've got Blizzard's blessing to show you a full instance run in Northrend straight from the beta to your desktop (or laptop). The guys went into Utgarde Keep with nothing but the epics on their backs and returned with tons of juicy info on a bunch of new talents, features, and areas that will be coming in the new expansion from Blizzard. Each week of our special will cover a full, real time trash mobs section, boss strat, and boss kill, as well as bonus footage and other features from the beta of Wrath of the Lich King. If you want to see what Blizzard has in store for the future of WoW, tune in!

Remember, you can always find out when new episodes are out by subscribing to the episodes RSS feed or following us on twitter. You can also find links to Project Lore all over the web on our Subscribe Page.

What do you mean Blizzard's blessing? Anyone can show videos from beta if you are in it. Come on now guys.

September 3, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterScrivs

OMG....that is GREAT can't wait until you guys post the videos....

QUESTION: What are they going to do when WOTLK is out and they already filmed episodes for all the 5-man content? Raids? It'll take a few weeks to get geared enough to clear them reliably enough to do an episode.

September 3, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterKevin

Same question as Kevin ^^^ Are you saying dorkins, goggins, drdark and Josh all got beta keys?

September 3, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterEcco

Interesting. It will be nice to see some more of the beta instead of simply hearing about it.

two words, bad ass. I wish i had a beta key, that would make me a really happy girl. who gives a flying flip about that dress for that wedding i'm supposed to go to next week << give me Lich King and I'm golden. Okay, bad example, but yea, haha. Its up there on my list.

I'm a bit torn.. On the one hand I'm excited for WotLK and am very curious to see it. On the other hand, I'm not about to get into the beta, so I'm worried about spoiling the joy of discovering WotLK freshly on my own when it's eventually released.

Also since this is still a beta, there is of course the possibility that things you'll be seeing here will no longer be accurate when the expansion IS finally released, so I wonder if there's really a point (other than being a preview of the expansion.. and fan service ;). You'll potentially have to re-run these instances after WotLK is release with "real" episodes won't you?

Or is the "blessing" from Blizz a sign that the instances are actually final?

Actually, when you sign up for beta. You are NOT suppose to release video content of beta product to the public. Unless they have changed this. I had played beta before and this was in the agreement when applying. First time I actually read an agreement from top to bottom xD

In what raid/dungeon is Arthas in?
(i soooo want to get a frostmourn)
P.S - i Play on a privet serber so the drop rates are higher.

September 4, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterPromitheus

Private servers kinda sucks the fun out of the game. You kill a boar infront of Orgrimmar and it drops 3-4 greens.

September 4, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterRugi

ok whatever but still does anyone know witch raid is the artas raid?

September 4, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterPromitheus

I'm gonna guess the last raid :-)

September 4, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterCharlie

Arthas isnt implimented yet to my knowledge. Just like in TBC with Illidan Stormrage (Black temple), he and his raid will probably be released In a latter patch some time after WOTLK is released

September 4, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterLilsaint

Yes, but Arthas will be appearing in more ways than one during WotLK as I have seen from beta leaks. So characters will be getting their own personal involvement with Arthas as well as ultimately confronting him.
