Project Lore's own Dr. Dorkins wraps up this week of Project Lore. And of course, one lucky viewer gets their question answered. Stay tuned and find out who on this weekly wrap-up of Project Lore.
what jeff is saying isn't really true, you want to cap or near cap hit, 9% at 295 hit rating, however, opinions have been reporting 5% or ~170 hit rating is sufficient. After hit, you want between 25-30% crit to keep up Vengeance, then Strength or Expertise, based on your personal preference
Yay for Zand!!! Oh man that fishing episode was great haha.
I love that you guys showed the statues dropping into the holes for Gundrak, I never got to look at what the alters did because I'm always too busy healing.
Okay, so I have just started watching some of these shows And I think I might be going crazy. Where is the 5th person? Is he the speaker? I need this answered asap. On another note I got a hunter to lvl 70 before WOTLK and quit. I am thinking of starting again and was wondering what classes are popping. Something that recks PvP without to much work.
well for a ret paladin, Jeff is generally correct. But there are other stats that need to be worked on which 1st and foremost would be hit rating. If u go into naxx with like even 20 hit rating below hit cap, ur dps will suffer by at least 100. So hit rating and strength are a pallies top priority. Crit rating is something that would be added on the side to kind of bump up ur dps from here and there. To put it simple if ur gonna lose like 5 strength for .1% crit chance then it is not worth it as much as ur max crit will lower. So its best to get gear that will work strength and crit together, but these often wont have hit rating so its best to plan out which gear u should have for progression keeping in mind the lvls of importance in stats. But most importantly, I just have to say this, gear only counts for 25% of the game and 75% is how u play. When I first started raiding Naxx i was actually behind my guild in gear and i went into a pug where other healers were much better geared out than me. We went to Patchwerk and i had the highest HPS compared to these other guys who had epic gear. So its more important to sharpen ur gaming skills and as u do that u come to realise what gear is good for ur class and thats where the 25% comes in. 100% means you know exactly what u are doing.
I have started to level a mage. We were in an instance yesterday, where he kicked my ass (I'm an arcane mage with around 1300 dps level 71). In TBC they really sucked at dps, so all paladins were holy/prot. Thanks Blizzard for improving their dps, but really. Their stuns and shit in PvP are just too OP. zomg.
Nice show, looking forward to watch all the new episodes, when you down heroics.
Hey I am starting a hunter and I was wondering on what talents to level. I was thinking of marksmanship, because of the damage I will deal before the mob attacks me. I have heard that with Survival you can do great damage and with beast mastery as well. On beast mastery your pet will be mainly your damage, but when I come up to level 80 I don't know what spec to be. So I was wondering if you guys could help me with what choice should I make to level and to go raiding with a hunter. Keep up the good work ^^

Like Dibullba stated in his wall of text: HIT CAP! Very important for every dps, is to be hit capped when u start raiding, before you start stacking other things (Str in case of pallies). I don't know the hitcap for pala tho, since i play a affli warlock (FTW! xD)

WOOOT FIRST
second.....
You guys got me thinking about starting a pally now... :D
nice shirt zand
So ret pally don't need crit or agi or hit rating at all? just pure strength? There goes my Mongoose....
Surely Hit & Crit are to bolster Str., anyway...?
Agi., from my recollection buffs ranged attacks & or armor - I could be wrong; have been before.

you need hit, misses=less dps=
the cap is roughly 8% which is 260 rating
