I always liked a stick of dynamite to help out getting those fish to boat/land.

I never fished with my dad though. It was my mom and sister that I fished with. The lake behind my grandma's old house had plenty of catfish in it.

Only our favorite Hunter could make the most boring profession in the world absolutely hilarious to watch.

I want to see him catching Old Crafty, as Juggynaut has done!!

@ Kazz
"a kitten that will sell for 5-10g " on the realm that I play, that kitten is 100-200g in Alliance AH, 150-250g in the Neutral AH, and 350-500g in Horde AH :D

Shoulda stayed on & caught a 50th fish - next 'catch' achievement woulda dinged...

25, 50, 100... the first 3, up to 500 & top one is 1000 fish - all of which my L80 Warrior has completed.

Oh; I have yet to get onto a Raid to get the Old Crafty (I got Old Ironjaw within 50 casts) & Ragefire Achievements

... cut to Dorkins with 3 weeks worth of beard growth, death metal blaring through the speakers, and Bawls bottles scattered all over the desk ...

"Well, I am now at 307 fishing... still haven't left this dock."

o good way to fish is to put WOW into windowed mode and watch Projectlore and fish on the side.

WHY I NOT CAN DPS FISH FOR LEVELZ!

March 11, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterTorage

Actually you can fish faster in a low level area, because when you get to a certain point, they never get away.

I enjoyed the comments, but it would be nice if Bliz would change the fishing in the next patch somehow, it is a laborous task IMO.

Just a note about being able to fish anywhere and it will keep going up because it is due to the number of fish you catch. I have found that this is true, for the most part, but if you fish from pools, such as oily blackmouth and wreckage and such your fishing will actually tend to go up faster then just fishing from any random spot. It seems to take less fish caught that way.

I finally maxed fishing the other day, my mind was numb by the time I was done.

Dr., I love fishing and it was fun watching you catch the "bug." Since you're a WOW doctor, maybe you will be prescribing fishing to some of the elderly Elves and Draenei who are experiencing high stress. After all, we all know stress can lead to heart failure or other diseases 'n attacks. lol. haha. It's very fun watching you. *hugs* from Lilliah

Just use Fishing Buddy for an easier time and more stats ^^ It will also tell you how many fish you need to get your next point.

That said, I love fishing!! Fishing is one of the first thing I maxed.

If you want to get to 450 you need to move away from low lvl pond! Why? Because higher lvl pond also mean more interesting loots! At some point you can start fishing really cool stuff like gear and Vendorfish(That fish is worth 2G at the vendor ^^ )

Also, big motivation! Dalaran! You can start fishing in Dalaran sewer and fountains at 425, you need to be 525 to not lose a fish but as soon as you can get your fishing skill, buff included, to 450 (So you should be able to do it at 325) go to Dalaran!

Dalaran Fountain for the coin achievement, you actually fish funny stuff in there so it's not so painful as fishing in a lvl 1 pond.

Dalaran sewer!! You need motivation? You have a load of really neat things to fish in there! Including, but not limited to, the Dalaran sewer giant rat companion! ^^ I got mine and he is soooo cute!! ^^ You can fish stuff that is very high priced in the AH and, trade goods.

Warning!! Things are roaming in the Dalaran sewer's water, if you are not lvl 80 stay out of the water! ^^

To keep fish from getting away all you need to do is to have the minimum fishing lvl require to fish +100. the sooner you get the +25 fishing rod the better! Every fishing supply NPC as 1 (No more!) so visit the NPC often until you get one. Visiting fishing supply NPCs in deserted and low traffic places will get you that rod faster! Also, get the +100 lure every time you can. The quantities at the vendor are limited and you really want to use those. If you have engineering learn to make them yourself.

Fishing it the Outland will also get you some weird stuff! ^^

@Stam
I sincerely hope that Blizzard doesn't listen to you and the others like you!! Sorry but some things are meant to be hard! And Blizzard shouldn't be patching stuff just to make it easier. Easy is boring!

Apology, for my spelling and grammar! English, I suck at it!

Love your vidcast and BRK freaking rules my hunter's world!!

Well dorkins, the very BEST group buff food in the game is a Fish Feast. It takes, Glacial salmon, nettlefish and musselback sculpin to make ( and a northrend herb ) You do however need 400+ fishing to catch the nettlefish in sholazar. Raids love those feasts mate...

Fishing, it keeps this old level 80 Draenai chilled after a raid, or just because i want to chill out, plus its also good if u cannot sleep. Fishing plus wow, plus late night in dalaran when no one is around equals...zzzzzzzz
