GJ guys. I remember doing this instance on heroic for the first time. Had alot of trouble just like you guys did. Especially as a tank who isn't exceptionally geared right after 80.

I love you Lyle but Heroic Throw is your friend. Use it!
Good episode and don't feel bad as that is one of the hardest bosses in LK heroics until you get geared.

sunken temple and gundrak is made by trolls that usually use the same architecture

I remember, I got invited to this in heroic mode.. only to find out that its their 11th wipe.. I honestly think this boss can either make or break the group!

But might i suggest that next time u gies do this boss fight that you go to the ramp that u came down and be at the very top of it and have the ranged dps and healer accross so that they do not get the poison nova and melee run up the ramp when the nova is casted

Thats about how my first time went on that boss. Was fun watching you guys adjust the whole fight too.

For me as a healadin this fight is a cake walk, no one dies on my watch. Honestly you only wiped when Lyle died, which was because the adds. Kill the adds cause those stunned him which leads to free hits from the boss. AoE them down and then focus on boss and it's a cake walk. =)

wow didnt run Gundrak yet and now that ive seen it i dont want to i hated Sunken Temple with a passion.....:(

just a bit of info for winterstrike devine shield will protect you from poison nova or remove it and it will also break the snake wrap. having said that you have improved alot already.

That was painful to watch. Guess they didn't know they could tank him by the wall and then run up OTHER SIDE of the wall.. putting the wall between them and the nova.

Heres a tip - Tank him in the doorway at which you first enter when you come down the ramp, and do the first pull. The tank stands in the doorway there, and ranged/heals right outside the opening. When he casts poison nova move left or right to LoS the cast, and this boss is cake. Keep AoE up to take care of the adds.

Yes, Lyle you should really use Heroic Throw.

They only won because the boss didn't use Poison Nova. I demand a rerun, go back and try it again.

I would guess that Dorkins in not using Jimmy because he leveled with his tanking pet and Jimmys level fell behind.
