Ashen Verdict Vendor Patterns

With the first part of Icecrown Citadel open today, not only did we get to preview and test the first boss (Lord Marrowgar), we also had access to a new vendor inside the palace, itself. Mott Sercer is a Quartermaster for the new faction, "The Ashen Verdict," and he stands just to the right of the entrance when you zone in. It's not entirely clear if he'll be the person to go to for things like Tier or badge gear, but he currently offers a drool-worthy collection of crafting patterns. While the gear you can create doesn't have stats yet (aside from armor and item level), it's almost assured they'll be things people want as soon as possible.

Please note that to purchase a recipe, you'll need to have a certain level of reputation with Ashen Verdict and an item called Primordial Saronite, which likely drops off of bosses or trash inside the instance (perhaps ICC's equivalent of Crusader/Runed Orbs?) . Below, I've listed each pattern and its material requirements:

Honored with The Ashen Verdict:

The following patterns will produce Feet slot items.

  • Pattern: Sandals of Consecration (Cloth ) - Tailoring 450 - 10 x Moonshroud, 5 x Primordial Saronite

Revered with The Ashen Verdict

So there you have it. Even if we don't know the stats yet, you can probably make out what gear is intended for your class from past experience. Everything, including the materials needed for each pattern, is subject to change.

What I am wondering is will you be able to buy tier gear at all with the new emblems. With ToC, you can buy tier 9 with triumph badges. However I am wondering if that was a 1 time thing just because its a "tournament". It doesn't seem likely in Icecrown Citadel.

@Togarox

I'm thinking the same thing. This probably won't be the only Quartermaster for ICC-related equipment, but he's the only one *inside* the dungeon itself, from what I can tell.

Still, there's a good chance that Tier pieces will drop off of bosses again.

@cocopuff

At this time, he only carries those three types of recipes, all of which allow you to create either a Leg or Foot slot item. Only time will tell if he offers recipes for other professions.
