Ulduar To-Do List!

So in case you have been living under a rock, Ulduar is here! It is finally time to do and experience everything we have been reading about and looking forward to for the last several months! It is an exciting time to say the least.

I know I had developed quite a shopping list of things to do. So many, in fact, I am having a hard time deciding what my first stop will be when I can finally log on!

The Ulduar instance is obviously my number one priority, but I have a few stops I am going to make before I hit the zone it. I logged out at the trainer so I could pick up my dual-spec right away, after that I’m sure I will head to the AH and see how bad I am going to get gouged for new the glyphs.

Of course I will have to take some time to set up toolbars, gear, and glyphs for my new spec. Then I’m sure I will have to fight with some newly out-of-date add-ons.

Once I get all that house keeping squared away, I am heading straight into Ulduar-10! The idea is to see if I can get some boss tries in before our schedule Ulduar-25 run later tonight. I’m not going to lie, my guild is planning on hitting Ulduar 25 hard, so I imagine I won’t find much time for anything else once we get in there.

That being said, I definitely see the appeal of looking at some other stuff before charging right in. After all The Argent Tournament sounds like great fun, and of course doing some heroics with dual specs in place could present an interesting challenge.

There are lots of new directions to go! So what are you guys going to be up to the moment you log on?

First thing, I'm logging onto my hunter and going spirit beast hunting :) Then I need to get my shammy prepped for Ulduar 25... should have gotten all my consumables ready before I logged last night :/

well my computer is having trouble downloading ulduar. but wats the point of DK with dual spec since i love blood and am no good at tanking, so 1000g saved. what I'm looking forward to the most is getting each of the new mounts. i mean they are gonna look awsome. even better than the normal main city mounts.

Good Luck Bastosa. Your guild will do good. I swear though, If i wasn't such a hardcore Roleplayer, and your guild wasnt on a pvp sevrer, i'd so join you guys.

I'm excited for this patch and I'm glad that it is finally out, but I find that these content patches take way too long to download. I had family business to do today, so I started to download the Patch. I come back 2 and a half hours later and ive onlt downloaded 108mb of 724. well thankfully i dont have to redownload that but its frustrating that I wont be able to play my paladin tonight and get my charger ( it dinged level 60 on my Blood Elf Paladin , Volsung realm, Galakrond).

Ulduar is really exciting, however, playing a low level charecter and not seeing the raids and new stuff, i am really disappointed that Project Lore hasnt even gotten into Nax yet. Not having much time to put in the game i love watchin all the high level WOTLK stuff on project lore however dont the vids kind of keep getting slower and slower, whatever happened to Instance per week, (love the vids though thnx)

First thing for me was getting my one talent spec (stupid lack of gold...) back to where I had it, then after a few of my regular dailies I hit the tourney! Our guild is going after Ulduar but we want to do it at our own pace...

im doing new Vault boss

Argent Tournament, since it'll be a piece of cake with my main having earned the "Ambassador" meta-achievement.

Heck, maybe I'll get lucky and there'll be offered an epic helm piece. Goodness knows you can't get one from the heroic 5-mans...

I'm going to try to grin and bare it as I grind the last 5 levels to 80. Such a grueling task for a casual player.

First... lol I'm going to attempt to log on. As it doesn't want me to. Then I'm checking out the fishing daily and just going about my regularly scheduled night. XD

DUDE! this is awesome i cant wait to be healer and shadow !!!!!!!!!! i am a priest ! this is so cool, first thing i will do is going to my class trainer and pay 1000g !

And i have a question..... we must pay 1k gold each time we want to respec? i mean im shadow and healer and i want to be disc and shadow .... i must pay 1k gold again ?

April 15, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMarilin

No, the 1000g is a one time charge to open up the dual spec system per character. As far as we know you pay the normal respec fee to dump/redo talent points based on how infrequently you do it.

April 15, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterWizardHawk

lol more content that keeps you stuck in your chair for months to kill each boss over and over for an epic (I sure don't miss it hehe).

Goodluck with Ulduar 10/25man progress folks!

Just FYI, the first link (pointing to the "Ulduar to here!"-post) has a "http://" too many, so it's not working...

but hey, i guess we know where to find it :-)

"I logged out at the trainer so I could pick up my dual-spec right away, after that I’m sure I will head to the AH and see how bad I am going to get gouged for new the glyphs."

Bwahaha. I thought I was the only one doing this. XD
