Juggy's Addons: A Comprehensive List

juggyui-smallRecently our Mount Runs have been able to include my viewpoint thanks to the wonders of screen capture software. A few of you who are following the Project Lore twitter have also caught a couple of my live streams of Ulduar raids on Ustream (Another raid is scheduled for tonight at 7pm PST!). Some of you have wondered what addons I use. I use a lot of them so I thought I'd just list off all of them. Also here is a screenshot with a few of them labeled (click it for a bigger size). Any questions are welcomed in the comments below!

  • Align - overlays a grid to neatly arrange things on the screen

  • Aloft - changes the nameplates over character's heads

  • Altoholic - tracks all sort of useful stuff between alts and guildies

  • ArkInventory - Organizes my inventory, bank, etc.

  • AtlasLoot - Shows bosses loot tables

  • Auctioneer - Scans the auction for tons of statistics and data. Way more than I can use

  • Cartographer - adds functionality to the ingame map

  • Clique - click casting made simple!

  • CT_MailMod - lots of useful mail functions

  • Deadly Boss Mods - tracks bosses' abilities and more

  • Dominos - customizes action bars

  • ElkBuffBars - shows buffs and makes them easier to see at a glance

  • FishingAce - right click casting

  • Fubar - along with tons of plugins, houses a lot of info

  • Gladius - enemy unit frames for use in arenas

  • Grid - Compact raid unit frames

  • LootDB - shows where loot came from (a little redundant with Altoholic I know)

  • MikScrollingBattleText - changes combat text

  • NPCScan - finds rare mobs

  • Omen - Threat Meter

  • OmniCC - Shows cooldowns on buttons

  • oRA - tons of cool raid functionality

  • Outfitter - gear swapping and item sets

  • Overachiever - some cool Achievement stuff

  • pError - hides errors like "Not Enough Mana" or whatever you want!

  • PitBull - Unit frames (health/mana/etc)

  • PowerAuras - Very customizable to show when buffs and abilities are up/down.

  • Prat - Edits the chat window

  • Quartz - Casting bars

  • RatingBuster - Compares stats with currently equipped items, shows differences, tells how stats affect you.

  • Recount - Damage Meter

  • simpleMinimap - Moves the minimap, makes it square, etc

  • SunnArt - creates a viewport with nice art!

  • TipTac - changes in-game tooltips

  • TotemTimers - does what it says

  • UrbanAchiever - More cool achievement functionality

  • XLoot - Changes loot window, group loot, masterloot, etc

  • ZOMGBuffs - shows who needs what buffs in a raid

Great, thanks a ton Juggy, I've been looking for a list like this. Also, some other awesome addons for healers are Decursive and Healbot.

July 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterBUTTER

Thanks for the list I recon I will give a couple a try, however I try to keep my list small.

I have started to roll a shamman so it was perfect timing for your list.

Keep the vids coming. Wish I could video my solo Strat runs for the Baron's mount for you guys. My best time so far is 12 min. 8 with a druid running with me.

Do you need a Strong computer to have all that?

July 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterLevelboy

@ Levelboy

you just need a decent processor and a good amount of RAM 2gigs would probably be fine

July 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterBrian

THank god for my 4gigs in 64bits software!

I run about 250mb of addon cache at some times and my fps or latency wont drop :P

July 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterKrashnor

Any Druid Addons to suggest?

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterVarnas

Juggy, Thank U very much! I'm starting to download all addons I need now!

Juggy, I hope that you got a very good computer (fast) from Project Lore. You must lagg so hard on a normal computer.

More then 50% of all your addons is already implemented in Blizzards basic UI. Only a slightly modification to the looks and view and it's already called an addon, with the same way of tracking.
Lets take MSBT for example; The only extra thing it shows is the icons. The rest is shown on your char pannel and Combat Log.

I don't need addons like Dominos, Prat or Elkano's Buffbars, I don't even need Omen cause it's already shown on the target's tooltip. In % yes, but does that mind? You can even let the blizz UI show you that you got aggro, losing aggro or high aggro.
Recount? Nah, if the target dies quick, the DPS is good.

Just keep it classic.

This was the thing i realy needed but can u say some thing about your PC and how big is your monitor to have place for all this???

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterasdasd

Holy shit, looks like I have to adapt with my Grid, RatingBuster, Omen, DBM, Auctioneer and AkrInventory, I even stopped using Recount and QH after turning 80 and go Resto Shammy. My laptop can't seem to handle that many addons and integrated Intel graphics card don't help.

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterShamtastik

omg ty juggy been trying to find a UI that was like yours, after seeing so many similar ones in vids from ulduar :P

@Rogue4Life

are you lvl 80? my holy pally can solo a run in 11 min at best

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterUgluck

Juggy, one thing that I've noticed in a couple of videos - and particularly when watching the live stream - that had me scratching my head from time to time: you seem to have your bags open A LOT during many encounters. WTF?

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterZerbet

Nice to see so many addons I use on that list. So far, I'm the only one in any of my guilds who uses altoholic (I keep recommending it though ^^').

I also use ZOMGBuffs, but currently have it disabled on my main, since my GM says pallypower is better. I keep saying you can coordinate between the two, but he's just lazy (and so am I) so I ended up using pally power anyway -_-'

Going to try NPCScan and pError, thanks for the tips.

The computer you use for Project Lore must be really good if you can run all those, and have settings at max. I found the monitors you use, but the computer itself, if I ever find that, I'm getting

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterOctaviax

Good lord your UI screen looks ZERO like a normal screen i would have to sit down with u at a computer and have u explain every aspect of your screen for me to understand all u got going on there.

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterRasun

cool i like my UI,... But you had 2 addons i may try out...

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterDagimpster

oh my too bad your ulduar runs are late in the night here -.-

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered Commenternagrydan

I'm surprised at how many addons you've got. I use only 9 of the ones you have listed...

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterAlayea

For those wondering about his PC....

I have about 200 Addons, most of which are modules, such as DBM, Cartographer, nUI, etc. I have an eMachine with a Pentium D 2.8G dual core, 2GB RAM, PNY 9800GT GPU, and an upgraded CPU fan. Only time I have fps spike is while in Dalaran or WG, where it drops to about 5-6 fps. My addon cache usually sits at around 50-70 mb, and my fps is between 15-25 fps in the world environment. So, no a super PC is not needed, jist don't kill the PC with too many things runnin at once. Also can see my UI in the Forums on the Let's see those UI's page. My monitor on the other hand is quite large, have poor vision.

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterTharon

P.S. runnin 32 bit Vista

July 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterTharon

I like to use SexyMap not only does it look really cool but it also hides all the icons around the map until you roll over the map. clean and simple.

I really like sunnArt, it has some really cool looking skins. The only problem it they don't go away when you want to do a screen grab (alt+ Z).

I use bartender for my action bars. Is Dominos better?

Thanks for us showing up your setup.
